She noticed he was trying to copy her pawsteps. "Shift your weight to your heels when you step down but with your front paw set it down lightly." She explains looking up and catching his eye. "Oh I will have a lot of questions so I will be going to you a lot." She smiles her blue eyes seeming to sparkle as the sun hit them. "It's nice to finally have a friend like you." She explains completely ignoring Icicle now. Daze was really handsome. She tells herself to stop thinking like that. He only wanted her as a friend.

Daze slightly changed how he was walking as Candy told him to do. "I am not usually busy, so it we be nice to have someone nagging me with questions," He laughed with a smile. Daze used his tail to brush some fur out of his face, and his warm, carmel eyes met Candy's blue eyes and for a second he totally forgot about Icicle, it was only the two of them walking together in the forest. He looked up as they arrived at camp with the sunset ring on the horizon.

"Doesn't that look pretty?" She asks looking at the sunset. Her pelt was still brushing his and she felt really happy. "So what do we do now?" She asks not knowing anymore. It had been a nice day. She had noticed that she had feelings for another wolf and it felt good to have a friend. "Maybe we could hunt together again? It's fun just hanging out with you." She tells him. She knew she had a crush it was obvious to her but maybe not as obvious to him.

Daze smiled at Candy, "Sure! I could try to teach you want I know, so if you don't make it as a warrior, you could try to be a huntress." He suggested swaying his tail with the wind. Candy was the only wolf besides White Flame that he couldn't read. He normally knew when someone did or didn't like him, but with Candy he couldn't tell.

"That would be nice. And who knows maybe you can hunt better now Twinkle Toes." She comes up with the new name and smiles. "So when will you teach me Twinkle Toes?" She asks adding a smirk at the end. She thought it would be funny if he didn't like the name so she could tease him with it. She nudged him with her shoulder. "Maybe you could learn more for me than you think." She tells him. It was nice to finally have another wolf, - especially a wolf like Daze - around.

Daze laughed flicking his tail, "Come on!" He barked and bounded back into the forest. He stopped when he reached a clearing. He turned to Candy, "there is a rabbit up ahead. If you can catch it, then we can move on to learning how to catch bigger prey on your own," he said with a jokingly sarcastic tone in his voice. He winked at her with a flirty smirk on his face.

She knew how to catch small prey. Though she had missed a few pieces of prey the day before because she had been careless. But this might make up for it. She stalked closer to the animal her tail and head low. She smelled the wind shifting and quickly but silently moved so that the rabbit still would not be able to smell her. Then she leaped. Her paws landing on the rabbit. She held it's head down with a paw and it's haunches down with the other. Then she snapped it's spine with her teeth. It was one of her nestest catches that she had ever made and she was really proud. She turned to Daze hoping she had done well.
