Desperation flooded Delilah as she realized she'd gotten lost as she fled the forest during the quake. Unfamiliar things surrounded her: two long rows of Twoleg nests, with the kits playing in their territory. Monsters sat, asleep, in front of some houses, and others drove down the Thunderpath.

Starshimmer padded into Lightningclan camp. Without saying a word, she plucke hiddenpaw from the medicine cat den and dragged her back to Sunclan camp.

Despite the dull ache, Snowstar fell into a light sleep
