Splash sat with her snow white banner curled atop her paws at the edge of the camp. Her shining blue eyes scanned across the clearing, alert for even the slightest disturbance. After what had just occurred with Aadila in the camp, the Pack was restless and muttering among themselves. A couple brutes stalked across the clearing, a fae crouched at the edge with her tail lashing. Could you blame them? Aadila had been openly rude to their Alphess and the Pack naturally wanted to defend her. So long as they don't start fighting amongst themselves.. Splash twitched an ear and tensed slightly as a low snarl escaped one of the males in the clearing. She relaxed when he turned to pad into his den and she continued to wait for Dawn and the others at her post.

Ace trotted happily out of the clearing from where she'd caught the rabbits, her muzzle stained with blood. She taken the time to eat half of one of the bunnies and carried what was left, along with the second, in her jaws now. She picked up the pace slightly as she come to a trail that she knew to be free of anything she's have to worry about running into. The scent of rabbit and blood filled her nostrils.

{Could Dawn find her when she's finished with Ice and surprise her since she can't smell much? I was going to have Accalia run into her but I didn't want Dawn to get stuck talking to Ace since I have to get off soon so I figured I'd ask first Lol}

Caulia eventually slowed, switching to weaving through the trees at a slow walk. She reached the camp and glanced around at all the uneasy wolves, frowning in confusion. Dawn, Blaze and Ice weren't back yet? She saw Blaze lying down in the corner, and frowned harder.

Dawn froze. For some reason, she wasn't used to something being said to her like that at all. A slight snarl escaped her jaws. She didn't know why; but when he said that, it reminded her of something that had happened with her family. Then she blinked, eyes huge, and stopped. She looked away. Her heart began to pound violently. Her face felt hot. Her paws feeling like ice. It was happening. Someone was telling her how they felt. Even after she doubted the thought of love in her life so recently. She swallowed hard, not knowing what to think; her mind seemed frazzled. Then, she took in a deep breath, huge staring that the ground below her as she sat on the mossy log. She blinked slowly, and jumped down. She sat on the grass not, but she was a little closer to Ice.
She looked up into his eyes, searching and confused. "You do?" she whispered.

Dawn swallowed hard. She didn't move though, yet. She didn't stop staring at him. The young Alphess looked at her paws all of a sudden and said softly, "Well.." She hardly ever used this gentle, humbled tone with anyone in the pack; not even Splash. "...Well, I never expected that at all." She looked up slowly and smiled sweetly. Her eyes sparkled in the sunlight streaming though the leaves. "I.. I think I might like you too."
