She nodded. "It's nice to have a home," she smiled wonderingly at the surroundings of her home. It felt good to be someplace she finally belonged.

Silex tipped his head curiously. "Why do you say that?" he asked, continuing slowly up the slopes.

Vivian

She looked at Silex sadly. "After Fell......did what he did, I was a wanderer. I had no home for a long time." she looked up into the sky. "Until now, my home was a makeshift den by a human camp."

Silex

Silex stopped and turned round to look at Vivian. "You lived by the humans?" he asked, his eyes flicking up and looking around the valley.

Vivian

"Yes, I did. For quite a while. They're not so bad," she shrugged, then winced again. Her ribs hurt. "Why?"

Silex

Silex shrugged. "No reason...I was just curious." he said. He saw her wince and stepped towards her. "Are you okay?" he asked tenderly.

Vivian

"Yes, I'm fine," she said, thuogh her ribs were on fire. She had been hurt before, but fell truly had the intention of killing her. She still couldn't believe it........Her former love tried to murder her. Why? She didn't know.

Looking at Silex, she wondered......Would he understand? Or push her away?

Silex nodded sympathetically. He sat down and sighed. "I wish you didn't have to go through this." he said, looking away sheepishly.

Vivian

"It's not your fault," she said kindly. "It's Fell's.......and Morgra's." She looked away. "I just wish......I wish Larka hadn't died. I think it made Fell crazy. I thought he had moved on, but, as you saw, he didn't. I just feel bad for Tarlar. She has to live with that!" She tried to lighten the tone, though she knew it was useless.

Silex listened intently. He gave a weak smile, and said "Maybe it's just...his way of taking his mind from Larka's death..." he suggested half heartedly.
