Bronte carried out her part skillfully, giving the elk no time to think. Hailstorm waited until the elk was only a yard away from where he crouched and then leaped out at it, grabbing its throat and letting his body swing around alongside its huge body. He felt it stumble and then fall, probably a mix of his past injury and the impact of Bronte's body from behind.

Vesper glanced at the sky. It was getting stormy. Surely she could abandon the trip, right? She made her way back to the dens, this time cutting through the trees instead of the taking the clear yet longer path downstream. When she clambered into her den she stepped on something soft and furry. The red she-wolf leaped back, convinced it was a pup. No, it was a squirrel. She sniffed it.
Sauver let his reflexive scout senses go on hyper-drive. "Long gash on... back right leg, bleeding profusely, wound probably inflicted by bear.... Ankle also twisted, elk around 3-4 years and already nervous. Possibly dangerous if it panicks," he reported quietly. He watched Bronte slip behind the elk then burst from her hiding place. Throwing himself out of it's path he circled around and began snapping at it's stomach.

Bronte jumped onto its back until it stumbled. She dug her claws into his back and bit into its neck. It started bleeding heavily. Bronte bit down harder until it fell. She jumped out of the way she wasnt crushed. bronte jumped up and claws its stomach.
Cody padded over to Vesper, " whats wrong?" He asked and sniffed the squirrel.

Hailstorm stepped back. The kill was over, the elk was dead. As soon as it quit breathing, he walked up to it and, after sniffing it over, began to eat. He moved to the side a bit, silently inviting the other two to join him in their hard earned meal. He wasn't much for the alpha first thing.

Bronte smiled and ate. Her stomach purred happily, finally having food. Bronte ate her fill and then padded under a tree to groom. The day was growing dark and stormy. She fluffed her fur and began grooming again. She loved her pack, and loved being a wolf The only thing she would have differently is Bronte wanted to be a mother. She loved pups and wanted some of her own. She sighed and curled up on the ground.

Rookie's eyes glittered with amusement as she saw Vesper jump back, convinced that the squirrel was a pup. She laid down and looked up at the sky, seeing that it was getting darker with rain clouds.
"Why are you so persistent?" Meta growled in annoyance. He hated how this fae wouldn't back down from her challenge. He also really hated how she thought she could actually beat the stronger wolf. A voice flickered through his thoughts "Strength doesn't win everything..." He then lunged at Emerald, trying to knock her onto her back.

Bronte lifted her head to see the two wolves fighting. " We dont need this right now, just be happy you are in the pack. Strom has to many other things to deal with. If your going to fight settle it away from the pack." She muttered to herself before thinking about other things. she was full and tired, but much to tired to fall asleep. The leaves rustled around her, as if leading her to an unknown place. Bronte got up and padded into the forest.
