History:
He was born in a shelter, along with 4 other siblings. His mother had been a dog currently rescued, who happened to be pregnant when they found her. They where cared for, and raised by the workers at the shelter. By the time he was only 3 months old, he was restless, and full of energy. He watched, as his siblings where adopted, one by one, until it was only he and his mother left. A kind family soon came, and adopted him, and picked out a name for him. Ace, they decided to call him. His mother was adopted soon after, by another loving family. In his new family, there where two young boys, and their parent. The kids where full of energy, just as he was. He grew, from a young 3 month old pup, to a strong, handsome, loyal 1 year old, as bold and magnificent as ever. A red bandanna hung around his neck, which the two boys picked out for him. One night, He woke up, startled. He could smell a thick, alerting scent. Smoke. And lots of it. He got up immediately, and went to go investigate. He came into the kitchen, and saw a large fire had started. He quickly ran, to try and alert his humans. None of them would listen to him. They groaned tiredly and pushed him away. The smoke was now all throughout the house, the fire now very big, and spreading to the rest of the house. One of the young boys woke up, and started coughing. The other boy, and their parents where still asleep, ignoring everything, yet inhaling in the toxic smoke. The boy awake clung to Ace, and he helped the boy out of the house. When Ace was in his puppy-hood, the family had taught him how to open their front door. This came to great use right now. He hurried, and opened the door, helping the boy out. He took him over to the lawn, and let him lay there, then ran back inside, to try and get the rest of the family out. But by the time he got there, everyone was blocked off, by the fire. He constantly tried to find a way to get to everyone, but he couldn't. Ace returned to the boy outside, and sat down with him, his eyes sad, and filled with worry. The boy sat up a bit, and grabbed onto his dog, who he had picked out that day at the shelter that long time ago. There, after a few minutes of sitting there, the boy died, from the amount of smoke he breathed in. He died, holding onto his best friend. The fire department then arrived, and stopped the fire. Ambulances came, and took the boy's body away. Ace was left, alone. His red bandanna burnt here and there from the fire. He will never forget this day, where he saved his very best friend.
