I just hope Stormfire's days as a Batchelor Stallion won't be long.

Most band stallions will pass of old age around 19 -20 but by then they will have been driven out by a younger Stallion. Some times they will be driven out at a younger age and spend their remaining years as a Batchelor Stallion wandering off to pass away on their own when their time comes.

Younger horses will often suffer from predation, lightning strikes, or they will get rounded up by BLM for mustang sales.

Awesome, but I don't think anyone wants their horses getting killed off so we'll avoid the predatory animals. Also don't want humans becoming a focus.

Stormfire could always try to snake Lightning, but she has thunder...When do foals actually get weaned?

I could actually just make a mare for Stormfire.

If you want me to make one to be his first mare (she'll have a filly, so technically he'll get two for one)

About 5 to six months of age. Some times younger.

I just kinds learned the survival rated by watching the documentary Cloud Wild Stallion of the Rockies. The lady that filmed it followed a wild stallion she named Cloud from his birth till he vanished at 19. He was a pale palomino that was so pale he looked white. His mother Phoenix lived to be 30 years old she just passed last year she was a typical Golden palomino and his sire was a black stallion called Raven.

History:River was born and raised in a small band on the other side of the valley. A young band stallion stole her from the band she was born into and she became one of his mares. She had raised one foal a two year old colt named Badger and currently carries a second goal sired by the same stallion. Sadly the band stallion's lead mare drove River and Badger from the band and Badger became a Batchelor Stallion while she has been a lone mare hoping to find a band before the birth of her next foal.
Description: River is a liver chestnut mare with a flaxen mane and tail a white Blaze on her face and a white sock on her right rear leg.

History: Romeo is a flashy bay paint mustang stallion who has held his own small band on the fringes of valley. He keeps his band close enough to the bands of other stallions but not close enough to cause trouble. His lead mare a sorrel named Ember tends to be a bit protective of her stallion and her band. He's been the band stallion of this band since he was a 4 year old.
