- An unusually calm look had settled across Jasper's delicate features as he let his question float in the air. It was almost ironic, how much things had changed for him since the time he had become an official Hunter. Moonlight had once made him extremely nervous, undoubtedly due to her rank over his own. Now, though, while he wouldn't consider them official friends, they were acquaintances. Companions. He held onto anything and everything they said; she wasn't Elder-old, but her words were often laced with a lot of wisdom. He frequently wondered where she scrambled all that up.
When she did speak, he allowed himself to tune back into the moment, fixating his gaze upon her own. "We'll go easy on you," he murmured in response, the quickest flick of his tail indicating he was teasing, which was relatively uncommon for the tomcat. "It would be nice to get out and stretch your legs; it might not seem like it, but it gets crampy in the camp." Jasper rose to his paws, his long legs swivelling him around. "I'll go collect a few others," he told her, dipping his head quickly before trotting off. His attention was captured by movement in the corner, and when he turned his head, he was delighted to see Shiro strolling back into camp. "Shiro," he called, turning yet again to head in her direction. "I see you've been busy already, but I was wondering if you'd like to join Moonlight and I on an early morning hunt?"

- A rumble of a purr sounded from within Bramble at Kaz's lighthearted grumbling, and he momentarily tilted his gaze up to the sky. It was a miserable grey and the sun was desperately fighting to make a full appearance. It didn't smell like rain, though. Finally. "Typical fall weather," he mused. "We can only hope it won't be as bad come the winter season." Bramble wasn't an avid hunter, but he wasn't stupid; he knew how frustrating the task was when there was so much snow covering the ground that they could barely get around the camp. Apart from the occasional hare, their prey choices were usually very limited.
He glanced back down at the hare that Kaz had just recently dropped by his paws. "Have it," he told his friend, despite the way his eyes lingered on it. "You need it more than I do." He paused momentarily, then shifted his gaze onto Bat. "It's been slow lately," Bramble continued a moment later. His face remained expressionless, but it was audibly a complaint. "I feel like I've been sunbathing more than I have been, working. I guess it's not much different for you; the Hunters are the only ones that really have a job to do nowadays."

- Kali was awoken by a dewdrop, which had innocently dripped down onto her nose in the process of making its way into the soft soil beneath her. Her crystal-blue eyes blinked open in surprise, and she let out a soft sneeze as the moistness spread across her golden-brown nose. "Good morning to you, too," she quietly greeted nobody in particular. Her small den was cold, that morning - colder than usual. As the Omega, Kaliska's den was naturally small and damp, but it was unusually wet now. Her mind flashed back to yesterday's rain, and she gave a simple nod of her head. That makes sense. Despite feeling a slight chill down her body, Kaliska still put on a bright face as she headed out of the den. Once outside, she carefully stretched out her sore leg, then took a seat outside the entrance of the den.
Most of the pride cats seemed up and running. Kali watched silently as they mingled about, tails up happily, whiskers twitching excitedly. The liveliness of the pride was always more entertaining in the midst of it all, but Kaliska was used to watching from afar. She turned her head to the side, gaze fixating on a nearby leaf. A faint outline of water sparkled as the sunlight caught it from a certain angle; it outlined the leaf perfectly. She smiled to herself before glancing back out at the cats. It would surely be a small matter of time before someone came over to throw an order at her.
