Soulfire did not deserve this, she had stayed even though Kendall gave her a chance to rise above her current position. Such shows of loyalty were not much for Beast, though. It had saved her from being killed, though.

Alpha, may i request the chance to go outside of camp to gather more supplies to reinforce the nursery and whelping dens?"
Upon Beast giving her permission, she dipped her head low and quickly padded out of camp. She always relished the time she was able to be outside of camp. It was like a breath of fresh air. She followed her feet to her favorite spot, a hidden clearing deep in the forest, towards the edge of the territory, that was filled with all kinds of wildflowers.
She was vaguely aware of another wolf following her, but he was staying outside the territory, so she did not think much about it. She figured that the wolf was just passing through the free-lands on the edge of the border. Beast had plans on taking over that land when the group got bigger. Too many wolves left with Kendall, so he did not have enough to take it over.

She was not the most pleased with this, but she had to tend to any injured wolf's wounds. She would have preferred killing a wolf in such a weak position, but she was the old beta's pup and was not as weak as she acted.

May i suggest having the fighters stay close to camp?" Forest Shadow suggested, knowing that getting the two males that were fighting over her affections away from her for a while would probably be a good thing.
