Mother: she looked after me for most my life. last month she was shot and I had to run away to save myself.

Why Do I Deserve To Be Accepted: I'd be a great addition to your pack. I can hunt, and my mother tought me how to heal when I was a pup. I've caugt a couple deer to survive.

im stumbling through the thick snow, and I come across a cave. "does anyone live here?" I mumble. i turn to my left. i see one wolf, sitting with a fish by its side.

[snickers.]

~ Malia ~

i wake to the sound of leaves rustling outside. i slowly stand and pad toward the stream, i look deep into the stream and watch the ripples in the water that the wind makes and i can see my reflection. i walk into the stream and try to get clean - but once it gets too cold i hop out, having a little shake with my paws sinking into the snow. i walk alongside the stream for a while, little do i know how the time is passing quickly. i look upwards and it's already mid-day. i turn back to the stream and wait until a fish passes by, i stick my nose into the water and just as a fish becomes curious, i grab it in my mouth, its quite wriggly. i sink my teeth in until the wriggles stop, place the fish into the snow and watch the clouds go by.

I slowly walk up to the wolf. "um... H-hi" I stutter.

[snickers.]

i slowly turn my head to my right and see a brownish wolf with brown eyes.
"hello, may i help you?"

I sort of take a step back in shock. "Um..." I have no idea what to say.

"Um... No... Wait yes! but no... Wait uh-" I'm cut off.

[snickers.]

"do you want to come back to the cave, you look quite cold?" i interrupt.

I smile at this gray wolf. "That would be nice" I say politely. "May I ask, what's your name?"

"Malia, my name is Malia. alpha of the wolf pack, and yours?" i smile with a little giggle.

I lightly giggle back. "My name is April; like the month, I guess" I smile warmly.
