[Anonymous Hyena]

Umathi sensed that this female was an adolescent, seeing small signs of slight hostility. "We just met, but I guess I am his friend..more of an acquaintance for now." She didn't feel very threatened by Vitani, but she had no means of seeming submissive. Umathi kept her tail held low, but the tip moved quickly from side to side. Her shoulders slouched a bit, but her chest was puffed out more than usual. Though she found it musing how Jakir, someone she had just met, was already protective of her. It was slightly annoying as well as she knew she could fend for herself. "I'm not in the need for fighting. I just want the flies to stop biting for awhile," she announced as she joined the larger black male into the pool.

-Vitani growled low in her throat, she wasn't intimidated by anyone, she just hated meeting new people- -She whipped around and padded to the other end of the pool, watching them carefully with a low growl still going on- -She stared an icy stare at the female-

[Hedgie;]

Jakir smiled at the two of them.
"Come in the water with us, Vitani! It feels wonderful, and it keeps a lot of the bugs off."
He settled into a laying position in the shallow side. His under belly and a small tip of his chest was wet.
He padded a spot beside him with his tail.
"Theres plenty of room." Jakir encouraged.

-Vitani sighed and rolled her eyes as she slowly crept into the shallow pool, her head was very hot so she dipped it under the water and she felt soothed- -She looked around as the flies swarmed and she frowned, flicking some of them with her tail- -She had a few on her nose so she dipped under again and pawed at her nose-

Umathi jumped out of the water, shaking and drenching whoever was nearby. She didn't like staying in the water for too long as it made her start to smell something fierce. She kept a close eye on Vitani...just in case. Rubbing herself against some of the grass nearby, she snuggled herself into a spot that wasn't too far from the pool or Jakir.

[Hedgie;]

Jakir shut his eyes, merely relaxing in the soothing liquid.
His ears swiveled to keep track of where Umathi went , his pelt tensed as she got water on his back. He relaxed a few moments later when his body acclimated to it.
With a small chuckled, he tapped Vitani on the shoulder.
The male took his tail, and flung a tiny cascade of water up on the bank at Umathi.

He purred, awaiting her reaction to his teasing.

[Anonymous Hyena]

Having been interrupted from her basking Umathi bellowed lowly. She flung a few small pebbles in his direction as her means to return fire, laughing a little in the process.

[Hedgie;]

He chuckled, and took another drink. He then stood up, and flopped his soggy pelt onto the bank.
The male rolled onto his belly to dry out in the air.
Suddenly, an idea popped into his head.
"Hey, when the sun goes down abit, you guys wanna hunt?" He licked his lips.

-Vitani looked at him and raised a brow- -She figured he wouldn't include her but he did, Vitani wasn't one to talk much so she just nodded expressionless- -She returned the tap with a paw at his ear playfully-

Pondering over the thought she couldn't help but notice that she hadn't eaten anything fresh in awhile...atleast nothing bigger than a fawn or warthog. "Yes...I would like to see what our skills put together can be like. Maybe we could even get some adult prey."
