A dark head lifted amidst the bushes and bristle, ears perked and eyes wide. Snow had coated the black wolf head to tail, giving him an almost glittery appearance. His nose twitched once before his ears went back against his head with a low growl. Something was out there, and he didn't like it. Rising to his feet, he shook off before his eyes focused again onto the landscape around him. If something did come after him, depending on what it was, Falon could take off like a bullet, his long legs could carry him miles. Unless it was another wolf, then Falon would have to fight it off, less it was a female.

Bronte lifted her noes to the air. Nothing seemed to be alive in the dark forest. It was unloving, luring her to move through its trees. She smiled and disappeared into the shadows and looming trees. It was good to be alone for the first time in weeks. Since joining packs and Storms death everyone was left a little shaken. Bronte whipped through the trees, feeling the sharp branches hitting her face. Finally stopping at the edge of the forest, she was panting hard and looking out across the icy ocean.

{ Updates, erm, updated...
Vesper kept her tail poised over to the top of the snow carpeting the forest floor. Her paws left deep clefts in the soft surface. The tracks wound around trees and through gulleys as she trotted towards the river. If she was lucky, it wouldn't be frozen, if somewhat slushy.
Sauver watched a tiny curl of cloud float past the thin moon. Stars were poking their bright faces into the midst of purple night . His lips turned up in a smile, then they dropped. He allowed himself a small sigh.
Vallerie stalked back into her clearing, looking carefully over the buck Aerie had captured. It had long since gone cold but she tore hungrily into a thigh, realizing she hadn't eaten in at least one day. "Air!" she called through a mouthful of flesh. "Dinner!"
Fuir picked his way over the pebbly shore of the lake. They gleamed white in the starlight, and reflected tiny rays onto his dark fur. The glassy water of the lake beckoned him closer. He could just make out the flashing shapes of silver fish beneath the surface. Someone wasn't going hungry tonight!

Falon didn't think, he just ran. Hearing someone blast through the woods had spooked him, sending Falon into a dead run over towards the meadow. The dark wolf cursed himself and his stupidness as he slowed to a stop. Why did he come out here?! Anyone would be able to spot him, he stood out like a sore thumb, his black coat contrasting immensely with the winter wonder of the meadow.
