Running off,

The paint stallion had received his permission from the mare, everything was going well for him so far. With a small grin to himself, he was about to cover her when the one thing that could go wrong, went wrong. He heard a scream and was making of the decision to flee or still try his luck when he was reminded that this band stallion was not alone. One of the band stallions had rushed over and was not happy with him, to say the least. Cain pinned his ears as well and ducked his head as Hound went after his neck, already starting to back up, frustrated and disappointed. While he had backed off a bit, he did stand and watch irately as Essence was shoved back into the folds of their herd. No covering for him, and now these stallions had a good portion of their focus on him. Cain snorted and seeing Hound lash out again, just nicking Cain's nuzzle with his teeth, turned and began to canter off but not without a little rebellious head toss. He didn't stand a chance, and knew it, but it didn't mean he was happy about following Hound and Devil's orders.
As he made his escape, he was presented with a new problem. Since that last endeavor had failed, he had to go find some new opportunities. He was done with bands for now, not wanting to get too roughed up today. So it was on to lone mares, fun. The young stallion kept up his canter, aiming to cover a decent amount of ground as he searched. The bites from Hound stung less as he moved and repurposed himself. What attracted his attention next was the scents of a few mares. It was possibly another band, but he figured he'd take a look and what he saw lifted his mood immediately. There were at least two mares and their only male companion was a yearling. Cain perked up and dropped to a trot as he approached the group. (Lucina, Thorn, Eagle, Dusty)

Band mare
Talking to her bandmate
▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬
The young brindled mare pinned her ears as she was nipped but did nothing else. It was something of a necessary discomfort to have horses above her in rank. She let out a small sigh then spoke.
"Alright. My name's Safara, you can call me Sara as well. You?" She asked, figuring since the two had settled who was on top the best plan of action was to see who this bandmate was. After all, if she couldn't sneak away from these stallions soon, they might be spending a lot of 'quality' time together.
