[thank you kindly. (:]
Sierra ran close to Carson's side. The other dogs (aside from Akira) kinda scared her. She wasn't afraid of them, she was just to shy to speak to them, so she decided human company would be best.

Ghost raises an eyebrow. Were they serious? "Are you really that sheltered? When I was first entering a team, the lead dog would slap me around when I did wrong. All I would do was hesitate at turns or go to the wrong food bowl." He shook his head at them and sighs.

"Oh please." Akira mumbled as she started walking again. That was enough out of him for the time being, even Hawk she had noticed was trying t one up him just like she was. She smiled at the thought and just kept walking along, she was beginning to love it here.

Hawk shook his head. "No, I didn't have it much better. Well a little, when I joined my first sled team I was bigger then the lead dog and he was a bit worried that he would get hurt, even if I couldn't fight. But anytime I opened my mouth he shut me down." He replied. It was true, Hawk hadn't had the worst of all lead dogs before, he had one that was particularly mean, a dog even bigger then Hawk that pushed everyone around. Hawk wasn't there for long and was sold only two months later when the owner stopped sledding. "Besides, rookies learn slower. They're still too excited to take yelling too seriously." He said, standing and following with Akira farther into town.

"Is he always like that?" Akira whispered to Hawk, flicking her tail as she went along, watching the people look at them like they would maul them to death. "I mean, im young but im two, not a puppy." she chuckled stopping at an intersection checking for cars... more like sleds XD

Hawk shrugged. "Not always, he changes it up every now and then." He responded, stopping with her at the intersection. No use getting run over by running sled dogs, or walking. When the path had cleared he went across, moving quickly to avoid whatever sled would come next. "You get used to him after a while, most lead dogs are like that. Some worse, some better. Just depends. Thing about Ghost is he's dedicated to the job, doesn't like others slacking off." He told her.

Akira chuckled once she made it across without getting hit by ore dogs and their leaders as she went and caught up to him quickly. "Well i guarantee im not a slacker, Im the horse in horse power." she smiled and shook her head, "But now is fun time, right?" she smiled jumping over some slick ice.

Hawk chuckled softly. "Are you now?" He asked. "It ain't all about speed, it's about muscle too you know?" He said, raising an eyebrow as he followed her example jumping over the ice. He let himself land towards the edge and slide across it onto the snow. Looking around he watched the people walking as well as one or two other dogs. Most were on leashes or kept close to their owners. Carson didn't seem to be like that. "In the few months I've been with this team I never once saw Carson keeping us close in town like other owners do." He mumbled.

"Thats what I like about him, " Akira chuckled, "And yes i have plenty of muscle. But its lightweight muscle, so i can steer and keep my speed." she smiled at him. She sighed, "But this weather is NOTHING compared to Russia." she sighed and shook her fur watching people walk by again wondering why she and Hawk werent on leashes, but they didnt care, why should they?

Sierra got bored of Carson being quiet, and ran after Akira. She seen her with another dog and hesitated, then decided to go anyway, "Hi Akira," She said, trotting to her side.
