If I knew where he went I would tell you. " The black female paused for a moment before speaking again," You're more than welcome to stay here and wait for him to return if you would like too."

Markus awoke and lifted his head, blinking as sunlight flooded into the small den. He looked over at his mate and licked her ear gently before standing up and shaking out his dusty pelt. The male then quietly left their den, wanting to give her some time alone to let the whole mate thing sink in.

Roukan let out the breath, getting to his paws, and leaping down the rock. His heart still beated at a rapid pace as he bounded through the forest, back to camp slowly. He mumbled something to himself, arriving into his home as he trekked to his den, his tail un-typically tucked in-between his hind-legs.

The she's head nestled into Markos's pelt, before slumping down as he got up. Waking her up, she let out a moan, her ear twitching as she watched Markos leave. She huffed, her brows furrowing as she got to her paws; sitting up.

He sighed, not being able to find his sister, nor Roukan anywhere, and he practically wasted away half of the day already. He forgot about the thought, trotting to his den, which he shared with his mate, when his sister's scent finally hit him. A smile formed on his face, nipping at the inside of his cheek, his fur now dried and clean, he rushed back, his fur bristling from the wind, and his large paws digging and kicking at the grass.

Ayame nodded a little, crawling in the den, but keeping her distance, watching the female, "Is my brother treating you well so far..?" She attempted a smile, but wasn't feeling it very much, quickly dropping the act, "I don't understand why we had to be paired together.. Roukan obviously hates me." The fae shrugged, looking up at Eika, wanting to know how their relationship was going, but she didn't want to get into their privacy.

Eika nodded," Northe is great." She looked at the other female with her head tilted slightly. " Maybe Roukan is just having a hard time admiring his feelings. From my understanding he can be difficult and hard to read but I think he just doesn't want people knowing his true feelings." She shrugged slightly and touched the fae with her nose gently." I could be wrong though. Maybe you should talk to him, and tell him how you feel about the way he is acting. "

Markos sniffed around camp, maybe his new mate is hungry. He wondered what she liked to eat the most. He wandered around for a while before sitting under a tree. He wanted his mate to like him and be comfortable with him but he didn't want to force her into anything. He let out a sigh and just sat.

Ayame nodded again, understanding where the other female was coming from, but she shrugged, "..I'm starting not to like him..--.. I mean.. He better start showing his feelings before mating season comes around. Alpha Lucian would be pretty upset." She grumbled, her ears twitching, her mood slowly dropping, happy that Northe and Eika were getting along, "My brother is pretty amazing. He's just hard to figure out." She smiled, her tail swaying.

" Hopefully he'll come around soon and start acting like a mate to you. You don't deserve the treatment you're getting," She smiled slightly and nodded as she mentioned Northe. " He's a good person indeed." Her smile grew as she looked at the fae." You know I've always admired you and Northe's relationship with each other. Growing up my siblings barely spoke to me so it's nice to know that not everybody treats their siblings that way."
