Cloud He ingnored the mares heat scent and smiled at her "hi there im cloud, its nice to met you" he said to the mare and to the stallion. He made sure his posture was not threating before glancing back at them. He looked at the mare and thought sh was very pretty.

[mindless.]

Dee shifted her feet, dark mane being tossed about as she shook it. "Hi Cloud. I am Decipher but just call me Dee." She smiled and sniffed him, her tail flicking against Edge as she inched towards Cloud curiously. She would probably nit leave Edge but was curiois of this stallion.

Cloud He smiled at the mare "well its very nice to met you dee, whats your stallions name?" he asked her kindly. He took a small step towards her than stoped again. (wb)

"Oh. I am not in a herd. He was bringing me to a better shelter. I call him Edge." She smiled and swished her tail. She looked back to him with a smile. Dee was hapoy to meet him. He seemed nice. Standing now a few feet away she almost considered asking him to tag along. After All she was not in a herd with anyone...

Cloud He smiled "oh well its nice to met you" he said to edge. He looked back at dee "im glad your not in a herd" he whispered to her quietly. He looked at them both "do you mind if I tag along with you both?" he asked them poiltly

Dee giggled quietly as he made a comment and flicked her ears back to Edge at the question. "If Edge is fine with it. I don't want to upset anyone. The heated mare shifted slightly, surpressing small shiver. Dee hoped she could find a strong stallion to be with by spring's end. At least her scent was meerly growing. It was half as strong as it will be in the spring. "What brings you around here and want to come with us? Do you have a shelter?" She asked Cloud.

Cloud he looked at her "Well i just moved here from the mountains, and no i do not have a shealter" he said to her with a slight smile. "it is safer for us to travle together this time of year" he said being truthful. He felt some of the small snowflakes fall on his coat.

[mindless.]

Dee nodded. "Yeah...He saved my hind end once this winter. I just got here too." The mare smirked and shook her mane again. "Can't wait until spring comes along. Winter never ends." She huffed. Dee only disliked her intense season smell. Other than that springtime was fine.

The tall stallion hid his slight caution about the new stallion and nodded politely. "Sure, why not. The more the merrier" he nickered and stepped forward. If Dee ended up leaving him in the end for this stallion, there was a chance he would let her. A wise friend once told him 'If she was truly meant to be yours, she will return and if she does not, then she was never yours to begin with'. He missed Talu.

As the cremello mare was crossing over the frozen lake, she heard a low crack from under her hooves. She snorted warily and kept walking. Suddenly, the ice broke under her hooves, she fell into the freezing water thrashing about as if sent chills down her spine. She squealed in fright and tried helplessly to keep her head above the water.

[mindless.]

Darting toward a squeal and splash Inferno nosed Cowgirl. "Be right back..." He skidded in te snow, another Teke struggling. "Hold on! Move toward the shore..." Following her as she struggled in the river he stepped in, water freezing his legs. Trudging through he nickered to her. "Come toward me!" The stallion ocfered his shoulder for support. He knew moost of the mares he had met would probably not stay with him but he was not about to let Iris or Cowgirl freeze or let this mare drown.

Dee smiled and whinnied. "Awesome! Come on Edge." She cantered back to stand behindhim. She had no idea where they were going but was excited to find this shelter.

(We are celebrating early christmas before going to see family. My dog got three squeaky toys. My ears....)
