The brute watched her actions and couldn’t help but chuckle at her failed attempt to catch a bug. He noticed the little critter on the bush, as if taunting her. The male flicked an ear behind him, not paying attention to the fact that the bug had slowly crawled onto him. The little pest made it way to the wolf’s head and hung out. “I would greatly appreciate some help.” he said, with a soft smile and still oblivious to the fact that there was a bug on his head.

Hunter Atlanta kept her face as expressionless as possible as she cleared her throat. "Of course." She stepped forwards, her tail swinging from side to side in small motions. She sat down next to her fellow Hunter and gently grasped a small, brittle twig from near his spine. It nearly fell apart in her mouth, but the wolf spat it out just in time. Now that's a dead twig.. she thought, her tail tip flicking absentmindedly over the lush green grass of the Pack camp. Atlanta brushed off leaves and pulled off small grass blades. She held back a sneeze as she nearly inhaled an entire leaf, but managed to keep in under control with some odd facial expressions. Her eyes widened the smallest bit when she saw... the cricket. Hanging on Enapay's ear. How dare it?? It ran away from her but not from him? How rude. Without thinking, she let out a quiet, low growl and snapped her teeth directly next to the Hunter's ear. She felt her teeth close on the bug- no wait- it was just a leaf. She snarled internally, feeling slightly stupid at her failed attempt to catch a simple pest.

The hunter blinked his eyes and looked at Atlanta shocked. “What in white claw was that for?” he asked, shocked at what she did. He didn’t even know that there was a bug on him till he felt something on his nose. Enapay’s eyes went wide as he saw the little pest on his snout. Giving off a low growl at the bug, the brute shook his head from side to side to rid of the darn thing. “Get....Off!” he said, now slightly annoyed with the darn thing. At this point it must have been a sight seeing him this way, being all embarrassed about this whole thing.

Atlanta stepped back quickly as Enapay shook his head firmly, doing his best to get the extremely annoying grasshopper off his nose. It was quite hilarious, but the Huntress didn't need to hold down a laugh as she had none. Atlanta perked her ears as the bug flew off the Hunter's nose and landed harshly in a bush. She flicked her ear in slight surprise. "That'll show it." she commented, her tone lighthearted as she curled her tail around her paws and stared at where the bug had fallen.

After regaining his confidence back, Enapay glanced at the annoying pest and glared at it. Shaking his head once again, he sat up and turned his attention back at Atlanta. “Hopefully... Annoying little bugger....” he muttered and then added, “Oh and thanks for helping me out with some of the spots I missed.” giving her a warming smile. Sure it would have fallen out eventually on it’s own, but Enapay would be bothered by it and would be up all night trying to get it all out.

Atlanta tried her best to remain calm and under control, not bursting out into pup's laughter. However, it was hard, and a little, smothered giggle escaped from her muzzle. She certainly wasn't laughing at him, she was laughing at herself for acting like a little wolf. She let out a large, very deep exhaled and shook her head the tiniest bit. "Yes, of course!" She said, not bothering to surprise her growing smile. Atlanta's fluffy ears swiveled, and her tail whizzed over the grass. Sure, she wasn't exactly being all uptight and stern like she usually was, but it was too nice of a spring season day to be all grumpy.

The huntress was out of the camp, already on the hunt for prey since she felt like she was always suffocating within the camp. Rhyne always seemed to have an eye on her and Aofie always seemed to stare at her, begging for her attention despite no longer being too young to care for herself. A part of Zaltana did love Aofie deeply, but the grey wolf had two dark secrets that had been connected due to her existence. One was Zaltana's, whose secret was that she had bloodstained paws and the other was Rhyne's, who somehow managed to fall in love and have a pup with an outsider. She sometimes wished that any other of her packmates had been the one to catch her in the act, then she wouldn't have been dragged into another dark secret and instead would have paid for only her crimes. Now with two secrets, she feared it was only a matter of time till they got out and she was certain she wouldn't be allowed to keep her life when they did.

The dark colored wolf was still fast asleep, he was dreaming about his deceased mate Kore. He missed her deeply but a part of him was also relieved, after all he had broken one of the pack rules having a pup with her and her death had certainly made it easier for him to keep his head. He had managed to fool the pack into believing that it was Zaltana who gave birth to Aofie, so no one besides himself and Zaltana will ever know about the pups real mother.

The trainee was already up, seeing this has some time away from her father and she let out a soft content sigh. Something about her father just fails to sit right with her, maybe it was his need to constantly be nice or the fact she felt like there was a hidden reason for the way he acted. Whatever it was, it just didn't sit well with her and she shook her head as she didn't want to spend her time alone thinking about him. She stood up from her spot and let out a soft yawn.

Aspen's breath rattled in her chest as she puffed it out with pride. "Hello, dear daughter." she wheezed, setting down the plump, fresh bird and carefully pulling off a feather. The slight breeze rustled and took it away, and Aspen watched it being carried to who-knows-where. She could not hold in the new much longer, so she turned to her beloved pup with pleasure alight in her eyes. "This old bird is a specialty!" she said, her scruffy tail beginning to wag and her ear flicked with satisfaction. "Wanna know why? It's 'cause your ol' mother went out and caugh' it herself!" Aspen grinned at Healer Nuala, and gave a dramatic wink, extremely proud of herself.

Nuala felt concern and worry rise up in her, although she pushed it down and gave her mother a gentle smile. “I am so proud of you! I didn’t know you were able to get out there and hunt anymore. How did it feel?” She asked Aspen, tilting her head slightly as she waited for an answer. Brutus was going to hear from her later, how could one gammas if not more get out into the forest on their watch? It could be forgiven if maybe they were accompanied by a warrior since it is dangerous outside right now. Especially with all the loners coming up by the territory and who knows when they will read to cross the line.

Aspen waggled her eyebrows in a seemingly expert manner in an attempt to make Nuala laugh. She knew that her daughter was worried about her; she could see it glistening in her eyes. "Eh, it felt great! To feel the wind rufflin' my fur and the cool grass under my feet, it certainly felt good." The old Gamma said lightheartedly, her slightly tangled tail wagging back and forth with an appearance of ease. "I really needed to get outta camp." Aspen shrugged, rolling a small pebble under her paws absentmindedly. She smiled at her daughter kindly. "No need to go an' worry about me. Your old lady still has a spark in her." The wolf offered a kind wink, flicking her ear with pleasure.

She didn’t seem to notice the fresh meat they had brought back. She was probably more concerned about her mother, Rerina, who had ran off with an old friend to go hunting. The male looked over and saw the older former delta playing with her catch and he shook his head.
