Zelda's Lullaby [Lullaby]//3 years//Herd Mare//Tags: Herd
Lullaby lead the way, her tail swishing as she walked. The river wasn't far, after a few minutes of walking it came into view. It didn't seem like anyone else was there yet. She halted by the edge of the water and lowered her muzzle to drink, the cool water soothing her dry throat.

Dove swallowed her mouthful of grass and set off to go explore. The mare wandered into the forest. She had no where she had to go and with a full belly, Dove was content. Hoofbeats made the mare's ear prick with curiousity. Dove watched a pinto mare come into view. Dove's eyes brightened, excitement coursing through her. Perhaps this mare would make a wonderful friend.

Honey was parched. The hot summer's sun combined with her thirst drove the palomino to head towards the nearest water source, the river. From where Honey was grazing, the river wasn't too far away. Honey began walking and the river was soon in sight. She paused, her golden ears flicking uncertaintly. Two horses had gotten there first. Reluctant to approach, the mare hesitated.

C O M E T
The stallion chuckled, ''When I was with my old friend.. Gunrose! That's my friends name!'' Comet paused, ''Oh Day, I
apologize, I keep on speaking of my old family.. And not talking about you'' Comet dipped his head, ''Anyway, when I was
with her, we would try new things, such as kicking trees for apples, or grazing in places we never had before, would you
like to do that?'' Comet asked the mare.

A R I E L
The mare silently grazed as she heard hoofbeats quite close to her. Ariel lifted her head and saw a white
mare a few feet away from her. ''Who are you?'' The clydesdale asked in a soft voice, she walked closer to
the figure and squinted her eyes, she didn't know whether she should approach this mare or not.

Noticing movement, the palomino mare lifted her head, her gaze landing on Honey. A new friend? She glanced to Spark, then looked back to Honey. Swishing her tail she took a few steps towards the unfamiliar mare, nickering in greeting.

Shura watched his small herd and the land around them.

Tsuki stood beside Gabe and flicked her tail before silently grazing

Spark looked up at the new mare and nickered, "Hello."

Dove looked curiously at the mare. "My name's White Bird but just call me Dove." She flicked her tail, her dark eyes bright and friendly. A new friend would be wonderful.

Honey was tempted to go find another water source farther away but before she could, the palomino mare had noticed her. Both horses called out a greeting. She couldn't leave now. Honey eyed them nervously and nickered a soft greeting.

Spark flicked his tail before looking at the new mare again. Ears forward, he watched her. She seemed a bit nervous to him. Spark considered going over to her and introducing himself and Lullaby

Shura watched his small herd and the land around them.

Lullaby watched the new mare curiously, noticing that she was staying where she was rather than coming over. She turned to Spark and nudged him with her nose. "C'mon! Let's so say hello!" She whispered, nudging him again before moving into a trot. "Hello!" She greeted again with a huge grin, oblivious to Honey's nervousness. She halted a few feet away from Honey, then continued. "I'm Lullaby! This here is Spark," She pointed her muzzle at Spark then looked back at Honey, "Who are you?"

Spark followed Lullaby closely and looked at the mare. He waited until Lullaby was done speaking rather than cutting her off and nickered, "Hello."

Honey's ears flicked back, startled by the mare's boldness. Atleast the stallion seemed a bit more laid-back and calm. Honey took a few steps back and introduced herself, "I'm Honey."
