A Faerie's Desire { Fantasy } - Female - 2 years - Omega - Crushless - Mateless
The fae's white ears were perked up towards the brute who'd fed her, a twinge of curiosity in her mind. She didn't press him further though, as him feeding her was already enough for the nervous Omega. No one seemed to be camp, so she went back to eating the pheasant, forcing herself to swallow a few more mouthfuls. Who knew when she would have the chance to eat next. As she heard her packmate's next few words, her ears flared up and a distant look filled her eyes. I guess I could do that... But we have a little problem. Looking up at Ryck, embarrassment coursed through the Omega. How was she supposed to tell him she couldn't hunt? It's not like she could just blurt it out. Would he judge her for it? Would he decide that she wasn't worth his time and then snap at her? Negative thoughts never seemed to leave the fae's mind, her muscles tensing up underneath her light pelt. They rippled beneath her fur, in plain sight on her shoulders flexed.
That would be uhhh... A great umm... idea if... She trailed off. Surely he wouldn't judge her? He'd already given her some food, if she mentioned she couldn't hunt it wouldn't make a difference? Unless he wanted her to catch something in return, for she was definitely not ready for that. I... can't uhh... hunt. Her voice dropped to a murmur, not accustomed to the fact of telling others that. My parents... she choked, hating the fact that she was going to say this. She still had no idea if they left her or if they were taken, but the latter seemed improbable as she would've heard them. Abandoned me... Before uhh.. they taught me anything except if you're really in trouble, you could live on plants and bugs for awhile.

Roo huffed,"There's no reason to get nervous around me. I'm not judgmental like the others." He told her as he made his way to his paws. Ryck slid his tail half up as he began to get to thinking. "If you're only an omega because you can't hunt, you're really not in that bad of a situation." Roo paused, taking a breath,"Most omegas are put in the omega rank because they're either omega pups, or overthrown pack members." The brute flicked an ear,"I was both." He told her, painful memories coming back. "I was abandoned by my parents, both omegas, and found by the alpha fae. I was raised as an Alpha pup until a year later when my parents confessed and were killed. I was to be killed as well, but my adoptive mother wouldn't have it." Roo sat down, his tail to his side as he continued his story. "I actually wished she would have. It would have been a hidden blessing to end my life when they wanted to, but she chose to just make me an Omega. My strength was beaten out of me daily for a year until I could barely lift my head, and then the beta overthrew the alphas. First order of business was to end the little mistake." He turned away, not wanting to finish the story. Ryck-O-Shay had taken the life of the wolf like it was nothing, a wicked and twisted smile and laugh stuck on his face. It wasn't him, and he never wanted it to be him again.
The brute stood back to his paws, turning to Fantasy,"Well, come on then. I will teach you how to hunt so that you may gain a non-omega status." He told her, starting in the direction of the woods. Being an omega was the worst thing that had ever happened to him, and it was a miracle that he was able to bounce back, but he still wished no other wolf had to go through what he had to. It's not that hard, really. I've taught a few adult wolves who scavenged and my pups as well as others." He told her. "Every wolf is good at something, and that something always works into either hunting, or fighting."
