Serena flicked her tail underneath his neck as she walked in. Dastan was laying there asleep, he looked so innocent. She nudged him with her muzzle, "Wake up, Wake up" she said quietly. Dastan batted his eyes as he woke up. "Yes mommy?" he asked. Serena looked back at Ralph and nodded for him to come in.

"Clever." she responded, smiling. "Thank you. For everything." Ellie said, snuggling next to Saran.

"No thank you!" he said brushing his tail against her fur. He got up and started walking out of the den suddenly.

Ralph followed serena into her cave and sat down next to dastan. "hey dastan, remember me?" he asked gingerly.

Kasper stumbled over an out jutting tree root. Howling in frustration, he bent down and licked his paw. A howl nearby stole his attention. Lifting his head, he howled back. Sniffing the air, kasper followed the howl till he reached a young far, no older than a year old.

Tayla froze in terror. A brown brute stared down at her. She lowered herself to the ground submissively and cried out loud "please don't hurt me! I'm only seeking for a home!"

Kasper took pity on tayla and softened his gaze "come now little one. I am kasper, alpha of Chance pack. Come back with me. I know someone who can help you with your foot" he glanced down at her paw and stood up, carefully brushing the dirt off his pelt.

Ellie, once again, was confused. 'What now? What did I do this time!?' she thought to herself.

Dastan stared down Ralph, "Duh I remember you!" he said rolling his eyes.

Saran looked over his shoulder and sent a smile to Ellie but noticed she looked sad. "What is it sweetie? I'll be right back, I'm bringing you back a surprise!" he said to her.

"Uh...okay!" Ellie, still confused, smiled a smile filled with puzzlement back at Saran.

Saran went out hunting to prepare a meal for his mate. He went to first get berries for her, he searched on every branch he walked past. He finally found some near silver creek, he ripped the whole limb of the tree and sat it next to a stone while he went to hunt for prey. He crept up on a large hare and waited then pounced on it, then he found a log that had a big hole in it to put water in it. He gathered all the things he found and brought it to a beautiful tree filled with flowers in the forest. He ran back to the den and got Ellie, "Come on I have a surprise!" he said. He pushed the bolder infront of the den once again so nothing could harm them, then padded slowly towards the tree.

Ellie followed Saran, eagerly.
