Ghost gave Grimsley a final warning snarl before turning to the pup, her eyes still watching her foe in her peripheral vision. Something akin to shock crossed over her features as she noticed he was playing with another wolf. "Uh, hello there." She greeted cautiously. "This is Kesi. I'll have to take him back to the den, you can come if you want?" Now watching both wolves, Ghost gently grabbed Kesi in her maw in wonderment at the events that had just occured. She padded back to the familiar site of her den and dropped the pup back into the soft bedding. Her anger and frustration began to grow inside her as she thought about the pups betrayal, eventually causing her to snap. "I left you for less than a minute!" She barked at Kesi, her eyes alight with anger. "Is that so hard?" Ghost huffed and began pacing around the den, Muttering to herself. She grabbed the carrion she had collected for Kesi earlier and lobbed it at him, a snarl of hurt and anger crossing her features. Ghost then sat at the entrance to the den, facing away from the pup.

Nix tensed as Kodix walked into the packsite and became uncharacteristically silent. His tail drooped and the beginnings of a snarl appeared on his maw. As the threat disapeared he relaxed, his calm, excitable aura returning to him once more. As he searched around for Tigan he realised the wolf was no longer around. Maybe he had been standing there for longer than he realized? No matter, there were still plenty of things to do. Nix's tail began to wag once more as he trotted to the food pile and picked a small rodent. He carried it to the tree outside his den, stopping for a moment to look at the dent he had made in its great trunk, then lay down gleefully to eat his prize.

■ cheery as usual, the fae simply smiled at her "no worries hun." she smiled and sat up resting her head on her paws before looking around. "look hun if your running low, i can do a walk around the area? as long as ive got someone with me because theres no way i'll be able to defend myself in my state" she chuckled gently and carefully made her way down the hill. she flicked an ear towards tigan as he caught her attention out of the corner of her eye before glancing back to maya.

Still waiting for a response from kodix she stood contently to the side of him. as bash took the younger fae off. she grumbled as she walked past, raising her hackles, though they quickly lay back down with the rest of her coat when the pair buggered off. she rolled her eyes and stood up looking to kodix. patiently waiting for his answer. though as per usual, her patience was wearing thin. it only ever lasted with kodix because he was alpha, and she was though a grouchy fae, very respectful to her alpha, no matter who held alpha.

"don't take it personally hon, like i said, she doesn't like anyone, it's just who she is. she's a true odious, been here since birth. look, i only know what i've been told as i wasn't born when she was a pup. but from what i've heard, when she was, she was the smallest in her litter. and was bullied, picked on, she was put down as no one believed she could do anything. so she learnt by herself, she's one of the most valuable wolves in this pack. you harm her, in any way, you'll get a mouthful from everyone. and i don't just mean the alpha."he smirked and stretched his front legs out to the side to lay down. looking at her curiously he let out a deep breath.

"bloody h*ll pups are taking a toll now.... and i'm bored anyway, sitting on a rock all day is not all its made out to be." she smirked and smiled as the fae said she wanted to do something fun "isn't fun for omega's and pups? i didn't realize we got to have fun? thought it was all work and whatever... besides, the patrol needs doing anyway...i don't mind going for a lazy jog, as long as whoever comes with me can handle my lazy jog" she chuckled looking to tigan as she lay back down, it was much easier than standing up. moving was one thing, but standing was another. she flicked her ears and looked up at him with a hint of submission to the higher ranked male, but nothing major, her submission was not often given as she wasn't a very dominant fae, and really didn't need to submit every time she came across a higher ranked wolf, she knew her place and respected it. she wagged her tail to the side and fell on her side with a huff, looking up at maya and tigan. "so.....?"

She shook out her fur and shrugged. "Whatever. She can hit me up when she learns to stop being a brat." She yawned softly and spotted a low hanging bush with thorns. There was a hole in it low to the ground but easy for her to wriggle through. She walked over to it and got down low, shimmying through the hole in the bush. It tore some patches of fur, but nothing major. She felt more secure as she curled into a ball, her snout on her tail.

Waiting until the two females were done, a soft huff emitted from his muzzle. With a roll of his eyes, he muttered something under his breath. First day and Akesha already had an enemy. Odd. Brazen that female, but it was a trait he admired deep down. To avoid protest, Kodix however, didn't say a word. His quiet, stubborn exterior remained outside as he turned to the female before his eyes. Khalessi. "A riff-rafter indeed." He replied, his pale green eyes fixated on the Subordinate. "Now, if you're done with your little scene," He said with a slight edge to his voice. "I can speak to Akesha later if you wish. If you have a problem with me letting in new members, I'd advise you to visit me. If problems persist I will not hesitate to kick the female out, understood?" His ears perked up, as his hackles stood along their ends. "Besides," The male said in a semi-amused voice. "I wouldn't expect you, Khalessi dear, to get along with someone with an attitude like you." Though he meant it as a joke, he spoke some truth in his statement. "About that scent on the north side, is it one of Vigilance?" He stated.

Grimsley isn't the nicest, which I suppose is why Kodix chose him as his Beta, his successor." Her ears flicked dismissively. "Well, I'd appreciate if you could get some border patrols going." Sorita said calmly, her eyes lingering on the dark furred female. With a gentle dip of her head, a grin spread across her face. "I suppose we should take a bit of Kodix's advice." Tensions were high between the two packs. Trying to lift everyone's minds off the Odious King's little debut was the only thing she could do. The female didn't want her own pack to worry about war, or any of that. That wasn't a war that needed to be fought. She knew it very well. Perhaps she questioned her mother's own choices as to kicking out Kodix at times. "Kell, would you and a few others like to go hunting with me? I understand if you don't want to." She said lightly, chuckling ruefully.

■ khaleesi listened and listened quietly flicking her tail listening to him mentioning her attitude, and with a smirk she spoke up, "is that supposed to be a compliment?" she snickered and then continued, "my attitude is my own, you of all know i dislike most of the pack it is nothing new and not to be taken personally. i don't like most wolves. and no, i have no problem with you letting in the riff raff, as long as they stay on their side of the line." a hypothetical line of course, but never the less. she flicked her tail listening to her mentioning her attitude, "besides. it's not my fault the baby girl can't take it when someone dislikes her..." a small grumble in there as she spoke of akesha. as he asked about the scent, she sat there quietly, a little unsure, "I don't believe so. the scent it was different from vigilance, perhaps another rouge? the prints were too big for a coyote so unless we have a giant coyote running around it's a wolf.... did your new comer travel with someone. did that question come up?" she asked, trying to be as polite as she could, but truth be told. khaleesi wasn't very polite on the best of days. she flicked her tail looking over to the wolf whom put herself in amongst the thorns. at first khaleesi frowned but shrugged it off looking back to kodix.

After meeting some of the pack and taking a lengthy nap, she gently blinked her eyes to adjust them to the darkness inside the bush. Slowly, she worked her way through the opening and growled at the sun. She was bored. She sat down and batted a leaf around, glancing over at Khaleesi who was still talking to Kodix. (She's open)
