Midou soon disappeared, he was heading into the fields. His pale amber optics were glowing in the darkness, the moon shown on his pelt. Lifting his crown to the sky, he sat near the center of the field and gazed at the moon; awe in his eyes.

The large brute hunkered down in an instant, his thick fur touching the ground where his stomach was, slinking his body down as close to the ground as he could make it. Before Fallon had a chance to reply to their beautiful alphess' question, he himself took the chance and began to speak in a very quiet, hushed tone, taking his chance to finally prove his worth to her. "Ares, if I may interject, I have an idea. Send out whoever is the fastest runner in the pack as a distraction, make sure the Artemis filth see him or her, and then our wolf takes off for the border, making the enemy wolves follow and letting us slip through."

Jace followed along with the others and lowering himself when they found that the pack was still up and at the river. He looked at the Artemis pack and realized that it wasn't the whole pack but only a few. He edge his way over to Ares and herd what Phantom had said. Jace nodded to his fighter then looked back to the pack. The only fast one that would be sent out would have to be Rieka but she injured herself by trying to show off. He looked back to the other pack, his brain searching for another plan and to see who was missing from the other pack. "Ares, the only fast one is Rieka and she is injured." He said in a deep whisper.

Rain nodded her head and then out of nowhere she stopped and looked at the dark brute. Playful amber eyes looking into gold ones before she went in and nipped his shoulder playfully before sprinting off towards the fields.

Ares quickly snapped back, "you speak only when you are spoken too! I have not warranted a fight." She demanded as she stood her ground. She turned her fiery gaze back to the Artemis, watching them play made her even more fueled with rage. She stood in silence How can they be so carefree, after what they have done to us. SHe growled deeply under her cold breathe. The anger was growing inside her, she wanted nothing more than to go straight for Lilacs throat, if she could not be happy then Nyx could not be either. She fought as hard as she could to hold herself back. Her rash desision would only show how unstable her emotions could be and how quickly she would change. " I want the Fae. unharmed." she hinted to the rest of the pack and turned away, rarely did she handle the dirty work. She was more of the grand finale type. She looked at fallon then to jace, hinting to them with her eyes. " You know what to do boys." She led back to the hunting fields, leading the rest of the pack along with her, their job was finished, for now...

Also, I wanted to mention that I am wanting to get some art work for our RP. Whether it is a map of the territories, art of any of the wolves or entire packs, it doesn't matter. I would just like some art. I also have a very large 1000+ group of unsorted pets that I want to clear out a majority of. If any of you like to do art of any skill then PM me. I am will to give away LARGE amounts of pet to people who create art for us. The more i like it the more pets you will get. (though you will get a lot no matter what). There are also rares and very rares mixed in the group too.

The large brute let out a snarl from deep within his throat, but made sure that it was very soft and quiet so that the Artemis filth, not bothering to call them wolves for they were unworthy of it. He did not bother to respond to Ares, for he did not feel the need, like many weaker creatures, to explain himself or apalogize, for he did not see himself as doing anything wrong, just trying to help. He pinned his ears flat against his skull, his eyes growing dark as they practically glared holes into Ares' back as she jogged away. Unlike before, Phantom waited for every other pack member, minus the two tht would be staying behind, to go ahead of him, claiming the very rear of the party as he began to follow them back onto their lands, trying to calm himself and sooth his anger instead of lashing out at his alphess.

Jace just watched the white fae as she snapped at them. His position not changing into a submissive one due to not fearing the fae though he did respect her. He nodded his head as she gave orders then watched as they left back to the fields before changing his gaze to Fallon. He looked at the younger brute wondering if he was going to try and boss him around. The jet black brute looked over to the two playing in the river and realized that they where the only ones left. His ears perked as Nyx suggested they go back to the dens. The two was going to have be quick "You have any ideas?" He asked Fallon just out of curiosity but his own mind filled with different ways of bringing the fae in.

Fallon curled his lip when Phantom spoke before he had a chance. He wanted badly to let a snarl escape his maw but he refrained. He took some pleasure is seeing Ares put the brute in his place. He hadn't liked the idea of one pack member running into strange, hostile territory alone, even if they were fast. He glanced at Ares, she looked furious, staring at the fea next to Nyx. He grinned as she gave her orders and nodded "not a problem" he spoke in a hushed tone as the alphess and the others left. He was a little surprised that this had gone from a reconnaissance mission to some type of attack but Ares called the shots and this would be more interesting anyway. He glanced at Jace, he respected this other brute, working with him would go smoothly. "It looks like most of them are either leaving or going to the dens. We can wait until it's just Nyx and the fae then split them up" he thought for a second Fallon was close to the same height as Jace but he didn't have the same brute strength "you're the muscle, you take Nyx" he hunkered down a little lower as he waited for the brute to reply.

Ava was a little surprised by Phoebes display of submissiveness. She looked at the other female with concern in her eyes "No it's alright, you go ahead but please be careful" she spoke softly. She was a little worried for the wolfess but she wasn't one to push herself on anyone. If Phoebe was more comfortable working alone she could respect that. "Take care dear" she smiled and headed back towards her den. Once she reached her nice warm den she curled up and went straight to sleep.

Jace had a feeling that the brute was going to say that. The idea popped into his head also. He nodded his head then looked over to the two wolves playing. "When they are heading back, I will flank Nyx then attack him then you get the fae." He said but instead of waiting for a reply, Jace turned and moved along the shadows trying to get closer to the other black brute. He found a spot and laid on the ground, waiting for a chance to strike.

Recap ;; The chimera have moved as a pack to the Artemis territory in order to spy on them, ares grew tired of the silence between them. She found Nyx with Lilac and grew enraged sending Jace and Fallon to capture Lilac and to bring her back to Ares unharmed. Ares is now sitting on the other side of the hunting fields waiting with the rest of her pack to see what happens next.
The artemis ack has all left the stream, all except for Lilac and Nyx. They were trying to get warm when nyx caught the scent of the jace and fallon, though he does not know who it is yet. It has also started to rain and is getting worse by the hour.

Ares paced herself as the pack followed, she stopped them once they crossed the hunting fields and had entered the tree line. Her ears perked up " we will wait here, I don't want anything to go wrong" She stuck her nose into the air, tracking the scent of her Jace and Fallon as they moved up wind. The light from the moon quickly dimmed as clouds rolled in over the valley. Small droplets crashed to the ground, only a little at first, then getting stronger with time. She never did mind the rain, many wolves prefered not to get wet but Ares liked it in some sadistic way, assuming any trail of her brutes would be lost were they to succeed. She howled into the darkness.

Nyx sat, thoroughly enjoying the comfort of Lilacs presence. I think this fae may be my mate. He reassured himself. He was never confident in matters of the heart but after so much time with the fae, he was sure of this. He rose his head looking at the fae, feeling the breeze on his cheek and the drops of cool liquid bounce of his fur. The winds shifted with a small gust, she lifted his nose when suddenly, a ripe wretched scent filled his nostrils. He lowered his ears and jumped to his feet, letting out a loud deep snarl. " Chimera, dare they enter MY land. Get under me Lilac" He barked at the fae, he had never been so enraged in front of her, he had never been so enraged in front of most people in fact. Nyx shifted his eyes back and forth trying to search every inch of their surroundings but he could see nothing. He snarled and barked into the black space around them " Show yourselves, you cowards."
