A snarl was ripped from Konan's throat as he stalked into the forest. Kicking aside leaves strewn on the path, he vented his anger by digging his claws into the ground, and sending any critter scurrying for safety from the tanned wolf's outburst. Suddenly, the brute paused, a familiar scent playing on his nose A packmate; more specifically Aimeé. He blushed a deep crimson when he turned to find the direction of the scent, and found her not too far off. Woops.

Tenshi stayed behind in the cover of the shadows in the forest. If they just chase it this way, she'll be able to bring it down for them to finish off. She waited in absolute silence. Her bright brown eyes sparkled in the shadows as a tiny amount of sunlight touched them softly. Her legs were stiff with tensed muscles, ready to spring into action at any moment. All of a sudden, a loud whistle sounded from one of the elk, sounding a warning to the rest of the herd. Just then she saw the three brutes lunge for the lone buck.
Come on... Just chase it this way... Tenshi thought to herself, rolling her shoulders in anticipation. Her eyes were locked on her target. She knew exactly how she would take it down to the ground. Once it was down, the brutes could finish it off. She knew she wouldn't be able to finish it off herself, especially a buck of this size.
"Lamb, tell me a story."
"There once was a pale man with dark hair who was very lonely."
"Why was it lonely?"
"All things must meet this man, so they shunned him."
"Did he chase them all?"
"He took an axe and split himself in two. Right. Down. The middle."
"So he would always have a friend?"
"So he would always have a friend."

Three years. Brute. Hunter.

The elk burst forward in a sudden spasm of movement, having been already distressed by the call of his herd and by the sight of Roland's body sailing towards it. Roland dove quite recklessly for the bull's hind end, grabbing what he could only to let go a few moments later, shaken off by the elk. This hunt would be a tiring one, and the chase had just begun.
Barreling forwards, the male kept pace with the elk, as did the two wolves around him. He snapped at its heels as the creature dove off course, redirecting it with new threats, and thoroughly startling it. Roland's lean, lanky body shot ahead at one point in an attempt to steer the elk towards Tenshi, whom he knew lay in wait. The treeline was near, now, and their endurance would not last for much longer. He was sure that the bull would be taken by surprise upon seeing Tenshi.

Rising onto my feet, I was left with nothing to
do but accept these inexplicable truths as my last source of comfort.
I wasn't dead. At least, I didn't think so. I don't remember how I got here, or why I came. I could possibly be dreaming, I suppose; that would explain the terribly strange occurrences that haunt every footstep taken in this place. The land itself is disorienting; the scents are dull and I'm beginning to forget things, like my name.
Rylan.
I hadn't lost it yet, the way I have already lost myself, and I can't seem to find a way home. Home. I need to go back, but somehow the task seems impossible. I don't even know which way to walk. I'm tired. And alone. And wet.

Tenshi watched anxiously, her eyes never leaving the elk. A sly smile crept onto her mouth as she saw Roland chasing the elk towards the tree line. She immediately ducked and dove into some bushes; thick foliage it was. Nothing was seen of her but her eyes as she waited for the right moment. There was a medium sized rock in front of her and that was what she'd use to push off. Everything was falling into place. She only hoped nothing would mess it up.

Roland, flanked by the two brutes, followed in the wake of the elk as it erupted into the undergrowth. Cold air rushed in and out of the wolf's lungs, feeling as heavy as river water and as fluid as soil. The crashing and crunching of the destruction of foliage resounded in his senses, jarring him, quickening his pace. His eyes widened, realizing that the hunt would soon have to be finished. Flashing a glance at the beast, it occurred to him that it seemed less tired than frightened.
This was an uneasy thought.
"Tenshi!" He barked, as the small band and their target dove into the trees. He couldn't see her; he could only hope that she was there, waiting somewhere for the right moment. His heart knocked against his chest under the turmoil of the moment, pounding in his ears. Hunts were usually exhilarating, but he'd somehow managed to have a bad feeling about this one. Surely, it was alright.
This is what he tried to convince himself.

Tenshi heard a loud crash of something bowling through the foliage. The elk. She peered out, not showing herself and saw the elk heading straight towards her bush. She smiled once more. As the elk got closer, she heard her name called out but it was faint. The world seemed to fade away as she focused more and more on the elk. All noise was muted and the only thing she heard was the elk's heart and her's beating heavily in both their chests. This was it. This was the moment. She leaned back, tensed her muscles and closed her eyes. She steadied herself, listening to the rhythmic beating of her heart and took in a deep breath, letting it out slowly. Then, her eyes snapped open and she sprang from the bushes to the rock, launched herself at the elk with a wide open mouth, ready to clasp down with all her might. Everything seemed to slow down; everything seemed in slow motion. She flew at the elk with all her force and power. Her jaw came into contact with the side of the elk's neck and she bit down, piercing it's flesh. She bit down hard enough to hold on but loose enough to do her move. Tenshi propelled the bottom half of her body forward, sending her up and around the neck of the elk. A large gash opened up it's throat, but not enough to kill it. As she came back to the side she had first latched onto, she propelled herself forward again, but this time with such force that it caused the elk to stumble and fall on it's side. Tenshi's back hit te ground hard with a loud thud, but not as loud as the elk's body hitting the forest floor. Her neck was stretched out as she held onto the elk, biting down harder the more it struggled. She knew she couldn't keep it down forever. She just laid there and hoped the brutes would finish it off quickly.

Loner - Two Years Old - Fae - Single
Pain. That is all she could feel, in some many different ways and all over and within. After running for what seemed miles and after breathing in much poisonous gas, her lungs were freezing up and paws stung like they had been dipped in acid. Water restlessly ran from her eyes and onto the ground below her, which had gone from iced rocks to smooth grass and crunching leaves. Then her muscles gave in and she collapsed in a heap by some kind of stream or river. The trickling water made her feel drossy and two words slipped from her before she fell into darkness. "Help me." she whispered, to no-one in particular but only in hope that something somewhere would find her and help her.

((Does anyone fancy interacting with fly and Arya? They're currently being chased by a bear and I wouldn't want to just type, 'they kept running while the bear followed... )

please note... I am currently a resident of Britain and on most nights I'm upstairs and in bed by 11pm GMT so I have a tendancy to miss the times when most rp-ing is done... so pre apologies if I don't always respond to stuff straight away
I have found that I am a lot like marmite, you'll either love me or hate me ^^
