He shook his head,pawing at his nose."A couple o' days,but...it's not that bad.."He said,looking at his feet."I mean,I didn't want to bother anyone."he blinked a couple of times,then another harking cough rippled through him.He closed his eyes,and sat down,still staring at his paws.

I watched go back into the forest. Odd. Didn't he just come from there? Whatever.

I get up and follow him more. Mostly because I found myself attracted to this wolf and because I was curious about him. I walked along staying in the shadows. However, somehow, I managed to loose sight of him. How could I have done that?

I get out of the shadows and present myself to the forest looking around. Creeping up to a creek, I bent my head low and drank from the water letting it trickle down my throat. I twitched my ears continuously listening to the sounds of the forest.

Ah, sunlight. I am going to die!

My body screams at me when I get up. I growl as I stand on all fours and shake out my glossy blackish brown coat. I flick my tail curiously as I emerge my den. I stand upright and smell the delicious scent of prey. But, already been eaten out of prey. Hm, not what I wanted...I sigh and walk to a clear streamed water creak. Ha. What else what be in a creak.

I lap up the water thirstily and look around for something to do or someone to talk to. Or maybe hunt with. I don't want to talk...right now. I look around some more and sigh. Fine, I'll go walk around. Maybe actually get some exercise.

Lily shook her head and nudged his shoulder. "No. Come on, we're getting you something for it. Your not bothering anyone." She said, starting for a small den where they kept a small stash of helpful herbs. The pack didnt have a healer, but they did the best they could, everyone pitching in when needed. She slipped into the small entrance and loocked around for what she was looking for. When the bright red flowers came into sight she gathered a few and offered them to trigger. "Eat the flowers, they should soothe your coughing, and then drink some cool water." She advised. "Dont be afriad to tell anyone your sick, your not bothering anyone." She said again.

Bear watched the female drink from the shadows. He had led her away from camp and slowly managed to lose her in the forest. He tilted his head as he watched her. Was she a loner? Or from a pack? His pack had not been here long, and he wasnt completely familiar with the territory. Either could be possible, ad he intended to find out. "Why did you follow me?" He asked, stepping from the brush. The large black wolf kept his head low and his ears back as he leveled his gaze on the female. He stopped just at the edge of the clearing, stepping into the light just enough to be seen.

I felt eyes on me. I felt a wave of hot run through my body as I realized that I might not be alone. I only skipped a beat when this had happened as I lapped up the water. Rising my neck slowly and keeping my gaze ahead of me, I flicked my ears and lifted my head slightly to smell the wind, although it was already too late.

I didn't jump at his words. I knew there was someone there, I just didn't know who...I flicked my head to the side looking at the ground as I listened to his question. I lifted my head up again and turned around to see his dazzling black coat. "Curiosity." Was all that I spoke to him. "I didn't know there were other wolves here." I told him deciding last minute to keep out the fact that I was part of a pack.

"Ok."He nodded,and eat the flower.He sighed,and turned."I/ll go get some water,thnaks Lily MIst."He asked,and trugged out of the den,ears back.

He grunted and sat down, not really worried by the female. If she had wanted to attack, her best opportunity would have been when he had been dragging the deer. "My pack and I are new to the area." He said shortly, not really wanting to give away too much. "I'm guessing you live here though. With a pack?" If there was a pack nearby this could be bad, and his alpha would have to be informed immediately. It was a wonder they hadn’t been discovered yet, and there was no way of knowing if this pack would be friendly to another invading pack. His guess was probably not.

Emerald Heartbeat looked over at him with perked ears. "Cantus Valley? My brother is in that pack... And I come from the Fallen Skies Pack..." She said softly shaking out once more. She was very curious of this wolf but chose not to show it much. And noticing him sitting she did the say after taking a few step closers, tilting her head with a soft smile.

As he sat, I looked at him curiously, and it only grew as he said he was here with a pack. Well, I already knew that, but...whatever. I guess you could say that it dawned on me just now. I pawed the ground boredly as I thought of something to say. "I do live here. Not long, but still." I told him ending at 'but still' so I didn't have to give him a history lesson about me. I looked back up at him trying to figure out what would happen if I told him about my pack. "I do live with a pack." I said at last putting way too much trust in this wolf. "You said you were new to the area." I said. "What brought you here?" I asked him determined to know.

Luke chuckled at her and sat down, he let his breathing catch up before speaking. He looked at Dementra and felt a warm tug in his heart, she was so nice, so perfect for him. He wanted her as his mate but would she accept his offer or turn it down, leaving him heart broken? He shrugged, "old or not your faster than me, for now at least, that launch you had from the river gave you a boost. Later on we'll race and see who is the fastest." Luke said smiling, "The geese?" he said remembering the reason they came out here. "Um, well they should be around here." he said trailin off as he looked around. There was a goose honk not too far from where they were, "Their over there." he said and stood up again, he waited for her before he began walking off toward the flock of unsuspecting geese.

Rolling her eyes at Luke, Dementra decided to let the topic of speed pass. It was wearing out, anyways, and it appeared that he had already forgotten the goose thing... Good. She thought. Maybe that means he likes me. When she thought it, she immediately started wondering what was going on inside his head at that moment, other than locating geese. What was his opinion on her? She wanted to know, but she wouldn't ever ask it. That seemed too much like one of those she-wolves back in the back would do- the ones who bat their eyelashes and act all innocent toward males. It made her sick when they did that, especially toward Luke... and now, she was desperately hoping that she wasn't doing the exact same thing. It wasn't the type of action that seemed controlled by the mind... not hers, anyways. "Oh. Now I see." She whispered, trotting silently after him, her eyes bright before she froze. "What do I do?" She asked, barely breathing the question in his ear and hoping he heard it.
