Dakota sees Shadow and whimpers. "I'm okay. Don't wait for me, you'll get yourself killed! C'mon, I know a perfect place to hide."
Dakota starts off, darting through the trees and bushes. Hoping that Shadow followed her, she later in a den that few wolves knew about and few wolves could find. "That stupid pup will never find us here," she mumbles to herself, licking her stomach.
