He stopped, breathing fast with his tongue out "Aztec!" Said Jett and looked around nervously "Go back to the pack. I'll continue on my own. You're a beta they need you!" He barked and without waiting for her reaction, sprinted forward. The brute was running fast, avoiding the fire. "Dawn!" He yelped. Suddenly, Jett stopped when flames didin't allow him to go any further. He tried to sniff the air, but smoke made him cough. Brute looked around, his ears perked. He was determined to find Dawn.

"Can you stop nudging me? I'm leaving ok!" She growled at the brute, suddenly her ears pricked up as she heard Jett, she ran out to see a blurring image of him. "Jett! I'm here, it's me Dawn!" She barked at him as she ran closer.

"I told you to stay" He barked. Suddenly, he heard Dawn's voice. "Dawn!" Howled Jett and tilted his head, noticing another wolf next to her. "Who's that?" He growled and looked at Aztec. Brute was almost sure that this stranger captured her. Did he know she's an alpha? Did he know that her pack needs her? Jett's fur on back rose and he curled his lips.
