Kaapo tilted his head, ready for Kia to reply..... but nothing, and with that, he streamed into space, for Kia was probably in space, too, and plus, he needed the thinking time. Maybe ill snap out of it, and be asleep in my packs den, and then finally do something for the pack, he thought, but he shook the idea out of his mind. He didn't even want to go back, and if he did, the pack would probably be mad at him for running away, because the leaders of the pack usually don't share words with the others that are involved with the leaders family. Wait? Kaapo suddenly thought. The pack was suppose to be family with everyone, for if it was the elders, the kits, the medicine pit, the hunters, the leaders, the apprentices, anyone! They were part of the pack, meaning family, well, sort of..... He went on thinking about this topic for sometime, until it crossed his mind that he wasn't in thought world, that he was in the big, scary world, and that he was talking to Kia.

I'm sorry, but it says in the rules that you can't change anything about your animals once you've started to rp. So, I can change the age of Kia. Also, in my backstory for Kia, she was abandoned as a pup, and to change it to a wolf related backstory would also be changing it. I'm sorry, but I'm going to keep Kia as she is, and I'll make it as if she doesn't know Kaapo yet. I'm sorry, but I'm not breaking the rules! And sorry if it gets confusing...

"Hello Kaapo, nice to meet you! I'm Kia," she says grinning. He has been the first stray that she's seen in awhile, and he seemed friendly. She wagged her tail slightly and listened to him talk about his pack life. "That sound interesting! I didn't know that you grew up in a pack. I'm sorry that you had to leave though.." she talks talking, her tail drooping slightly.

"Yeah..." He sighed. "It's fine... Whatever." He turned, and sat. Letting the rain take over him in sadness. Tears started to drop off his face, and then pictures of his mother, sorry eyed, and clueless, and let down, and of his father determined, and un giving. He wished to be back in his den, but he wasn't, so he sucked it up, and laid down, wanting to soon to sleep.
He wanted the comfort of another to be there be his side when he slept, and maybe through out the rest of his life, but he wasn't sure who. He had thought of Kia, but he washed Kia out of his mind because she probably already had a family, a shelter, and some loving friends. He wanted to ask, but he didn't know how, so he turned, and started into Kias eyes, and showed a questioned look on his face, then laid down Kias direction, head pointing towards Kias paws.

Kia sighed slightly, and she sat down too. It ended up being such a sad conversation, and she wasn't sure how to change it to a more happy note. She saw him give her a look, so she said, "I'll stay with you while you sleep if you'd like. Let's go to where I "live" though. It's nice there, and it'll keep us from getting wet from the rain. Is that ok with you?"

Kaapo shrugged, and stood up, then sat. "That's ok, I guess...." He said, knowing that in the morning he would probably have to leave, and then have nobody else to help him with his life. He sighed, and looked at Kia to lead the way. "But if it a long way to your den, we might as well just stay here, because it is almost sun high, and I have to get some rest in order to go and find a mate tomorrow..."
