└---------------------------┘ Hearing twigs snap not to far off her head shot up and her bright amber eyes looked around the area, she was rather alert as she hoped it was nothing she had to worry about. With her ears perked and her nose slightly pointed to the sky her nose took in a familiar scent that lingered in the area in which the scent could only belong to Medieval. Giggling softly the white fae came to realize he had not listened and stayed near instead of leaving back to camp, which she thought was actually rather cute but she was almost sure if the alpha was to discover the same thing she had, he wouldn't exactly feel the same.

Royale - Female - 3 years - Fighter - Crushless - Mateless
The leaves rustled above their heads, casting dancing shadows onto the ground and dappling their backs with sunlight. Royale's ears weren't listening for anything anymore, a ghost of a smile on her face as Jade returned it. With a contented sigh, she surveyed the scenery, taking in every tree trunk and every bush for any malformations. A squeak of surprise escaped her mouth as Ash suddenly rushed past both her and Jade, the fighter halting abruptly as her heart hammered in her chest. Shaking out her fur, the she-wolf pinned her ears in embarrassment and started walking again, casting Jade a quick side glance before looking ahead once again. She realized her packmate went after the rabbit, and relief coursed through her body. She was afraid he'd found another Loner already. Most of the prey had scurried away to hide when they heard Asher noisily chase after the rabbit, so Royale saw no point in trying to find any more. A grunt behind them indicated Ash had come back, and the fighter motioned with her tail to say she'd heard him.
Flicking her ears at the bothersome flies, the alpha's scent slowly wafted into Royale's nose and she turned towards it. Along with his scent, was a strong one of another Loner, along with Medieval. She guessed this was the Loner he'd found. Snorting, there were too many Loners wandering around lately, the fae cautiously made her way forward, halting as the alpha's voice got louder. She wasn't close enough to comprehend anything he was saying, but she could see him perfectly fine. She dipped her head to him, standing beside Jade and halting as Ash motioned for them to do so. Something was radiating off the Loner's body, but the pack wolf couldn't quite place a name on what it was. Probably just nervousness or something. Royale's tail had changed from it's relaxed position to a more tense one, instead of falling behind her held slightly at an angle. She wasn't sure in what mood Phantom was in, as she remembered when she and her brother first joined, he was quite cold and unwelcoming. But she observed him, and he seemed quite relaxed talking to the other Loner so she didn't worry too much.

My ears twitch, I had amazing hearing like most wolves but my scene of smell was even better. I almost immediately catch the sent of Medieval I sigh and turn my head in the direction of the sound, "Medieval next time I ask you to do something I suggest you do something, I understand your concern for Cora but I would like you to know that I like to listen to reason before attacking a wolf." I say in a rather fed up voice, "Come on, I had best show you the rest of the pack." I Say to Cora as I stand flicking my black tail with slightly annoyed attached. I then glance at the direction that Medieval was, he was a very good friend of mine but I was easily annoyed when others didn't follow orders; however I decided to over look it this time.

Medieval - Male - 5 years - Hunter - Crusheless - Mateless
The brute pinned his ears in embarrassment, his muscles tense. So much for being secretive, he knew he shouldn't of come back here. Growling under his breath, just loud enough for only himself to hear, he lifted his head up and stepped out of the foliage. "Yes, Phatom. Sorry." He barked. Flicking his tail, he looked over to Cora and shot her a small smile, before once again turning back to his alpha. Movement over to his side caught his attention, and he looked over to see his sister with another Loner, with Ash on her other side. Curious as to why there were so many Loners, an idea popped in the Hunter's mind and he stepped forward so he was shoulder-to-shoulder with Phantom, lowering his voice. He wasn't quite sure if Cora would be comfortable knowing there were other wolves around.
"Ash and Royale brought over another one." He started, motioning with his muzzle Jade as she stood between both pack wolves. "If you wish to talk to her, I can show Cora around if you'd like." Although the brute knew his Alpha would probably want to show the Pack to both wolves at the same time, if the other fae were to join, he couldn't help but ask. He was still intrigued by Cora, a rare occurrence that only ever happened to Medieval once with this other she-wolf. Cocking his head to the side, his curiosity showed in his eyes, hoping his friend would let him do this this time.

Ratchie nodded, mumbling "Yup." He flicked his tail and his eyes flashed to the sky, watching the clouds gather and rain begin to fall. He looked to Mouchard again, waiting for a response. He licked the remaining blood off his lips, taking off whatever he could, his fur painted a faded red colour on his muzzle, around his mouth and chops. He flicked an ear and perked them to face the direction of Mouchard.

Scarlette's eyes stayed fixed on the elk, her eyes then flickered to the herd. A grin played on her muzzle and when Illusion bolted out so did she, darting towards their prey. Her eyes caught on Illusion going for a young one as she ran, immediately she went to work, nipping it's hindquarters to try and slow it down. On the run, a hunt was easier than it would be if the animal, say, defended itself. Scar ran alongside it at it's shoulders, then took a chance and swerved into it, clamping her jaws tightly on it's throat while Illusion clung on to the back of it's neck. She wouldn't let go and she just dropped her body, letting it drag. The young elk struggled with a wolf on it's back and the other pulling it down, Scarli used her weight to slow it down, and made it harder for the hoofed beast to run. Eventually it slowed to a desperate walking-speed and bent it's head down while standing, so that Scarlette was pretty much laying on the ground. She felt no threat of being trampled since she was holding onto it by the neck, her jaws tightened even more and her eyes flickered to Illusion, to see if he was okay.

It wasn't long until all that was left was the bones, skin, etc. Her white muzzle was covered with the blood of her prey as she licked it after her meal. She had a very satisfied smile after she felt full by the rabbits meat. She lifted herself off the ground. Her eyes searched the her surroundings before she looked back down at the remains of her catch. “Better hide this so no pack wolves come searching for me. Even though my face is covered in blood.” she told herself with a tiny bit of laughter. Her head turned over to see that there was a whole in the ground, most likely where the rabbit had been occupying. Well it wasn't going to live there anymore. She grabbed the last of her prey and stuck it in the whole before heading off. She decided that since she had her energy again, she might want to leave before she was discovered. But she knew that just wasn't her luck, someone had to of smelled her out already. Her body and mind were calm as she began to walk, but that's when she heard loud barking and snarling of a wolf. She got low and began to crawl towards the source. Her eyes widened as she felt the vibrations of the earth as some of the scattering elk came towards her. She jumped up and ran behind a tree to let the elk run on by. When they finally passed, she got into a crouching position again and crawled into a thick bush to spy on whoever was making such a ruckus.

{.Username.}
DayBreak, however it used to be Daybreak-IMOBilly in memory of my deceased brother. I am attempting to move on, hence the new username.
{.Name.}
His name is Ryck O Shay, given to him for his spunky personality as a pup and his ability to get right back up when he's down. The name was given to him by his father, an honorable decision as most females name their pups. He's been called Ryck and Shay, however his favorite nickname is Roo -as in Kangaroo (for it's ability to hop).
{.Gender.}
There is no doubt that Roo is a male. It's what he was born as, and I'm not too sure that he can switch genders, not that he would even want to.
{.Age.}
Roo is roughly about five years old, however he's not getting any younger.
{.Pack.}
Although he has not always been part of it, Ryck-o-Shay is part of the Secret Land wolves.
{.Rank.}
Roo's been placed in just about every rank, from Omega to Healer to Alpha, he's had them all, which makes him a bit shady at times, but he'd good at quite a bit. For the time being, he is one of the many hunters, however he is quite ambitious, and would jump at the chance to be an alpha.

{.Crush.}
I should hope he'd have more than that.
{.Mate.}
Ryck O Shay's got the most gorgeous she-wolf as his mate. One that he's been able to count on his entire life, and he's already got a litter of pups with her, raised and left. Let me clarify that a bit more. He had the most gorgeous she-wolf as his mate.
{.Pups.}
He's got two biological sons, Avion and the weaker one, Chek. He also has an adoptive daughter, Lupa. All are about a year old, and all have left the pack they were all raised in, a pack which no longer exists.
{.Friends.}
In the world of wolves, you're either a packmate or an enemy.

{.Description.}
Ryck O Shay has a typical timber wolf coloring, a white base, a slightly off white covering, tan around some areas, and the typical black wolfing. The coat itself is a hard trait to pass down as it tends to produce more of a grey and black tone, or a white tone. His body is lean, defined by hard muscle,s however he is actually somewhat thin and covered by thick fur. He is the typical fighter, strong, with meat on his bones, but not enough to make him larger than his frame. Roo is about 2'6" and weighs 85 lbs. He has dark hazel eyes, striped with different shades of green and brown toward the center. His eyes are a more vivid version of his sisters. He has defined pigmentation around his eyes, almost as if they are encased in black.
{.Distinguishing Marks.}
The brute's got a few scars over his body, but it's a must if you've been an Omega or an Alpha. You have to have 'been around'.
{.Eyes.}
"He has dark hazel eyes, striped with different shades of green and brown toward the center. His eyes are a more vivid version of his sisters. He has defined pigmentation around his eyes, almost as if they are encased in black."
{.Height, Length, & Weight.}
"Roo is about 2'6" and weighs 85 lbs" -that being said, he's a larger wolf, however not as big as they come. Roo's weight is 100% muscles and organs. That's it, not an ounce of fat on his bones as he only eats what he absolutely must.

{.Personality.}
Roo can be a bit judgmental, however it comes with reason. He knows what it takes to run a pack, the attitude and the drive to please the alpha. In his mind, it should be second nature, but it's not always that way for others. In his mindset, the Alpha of the pack deserves respect, and although they may not think so, he will be quick to enforce it on anyone. Loyalty to him means everything. His loyalty to his packmates will be undying, he does what he must to keep the pack alive and well, and that's all there is to it, however if he finds one that is not loyal anymore, he will take it upon himself to correct the problem, not driving them out of the pack, but not staying in the pack either -if you catch my drift.
It's not often that Roo will back down from a fight, but he knows when he's beaten, or when he has absolutely no chance. Roo's always been a superb fighter, and it's something that comes from his genetics, as his father was a great fighter as well, however he does have a good strain of hunter in him. He's a decent hunter, but it comes from the need to feed the pack, and it's something that most wolves have, so it's not exactly a just-him sort of thing.
Roo's arguments can be a bit one-sided, but it's the way he'd always been. He was never taught to keep an open mind about things, therefore he holds quite a narrow one, almost closed. When the brute's got his mind made up, there's no turning away, he will set out to do what he was planning on doing, even if it kills him. If he gets knocked off a cliff by a elk and breaks a leg, he will attempt to keep himself alive, and if he succeeds, the first thing he'll do is track down the elk that he'd been hunting and have his revenge.
Ryck-o-Shay is not a wolf younger wolves like to be partnered up with (for training purposes). He can be tough, but it's only because he knows more than just about anyone that the world outside of the camp can be harsh and unforgiving. His methods of teaching others are built by his own experiences, the ability to defend yourself decently, and the ability to hunt superbly, and then back to being able to defend others. In his mind, young ones should learn how to care for themselves before they take on the responsibility of caring for others, as most young ones leave their pack.
The brute is not too keen on sharing his past, as it's something that haunts him. He does not like when other reference things they believe to be true about him, however they are not. Roo tends to let his pack mate's minds explore the possibilities of his past, whether he was a measly omega, or a large-pack assassin, he'd rather keep them guessing. However those who can see through his exterior shell would be able to tell his past right away by the way he handles things.
{.Likes.}
• Hunting

• Ripping into the Vanishing Shadows pack members
{.Dislikes.}
• Disloyalty
• Disobedience
• Others trying to figure out his past
• Ignorant Younger Wolves
• Wolves who thing they know him

{.Strengths.}
• Battle Plans (Creating & Carrying Out) - When it comes to battle plans, Roo's the wolf to go to. He can arrange anything that you'd like to carry out, whether it be a sneak attack on the borders to provoke a larger-scale attack, or an attack at the heart, gone unknown until desired, he's the man with the plan. He tends to like to head his missions, as no one obviously knows them as well as the creator, however he doesn't mind standing aside.
• Being a Part of a Pack - Any pack wolf has this strength, but not many of them realize it as well as he does. I do not want to spoil his history, but I will say that he's seen quite a few things that he wishes he couldn't have, however he's found that being with a pack adds to the strength of a wolf rather than bringing it down. Others may think that a pack is at their disposal, but he understands the meaning of a loyal and a respectable pack.
• Hunting in Groups - This is not necessarily something that all wolves are good at, in fact, most prefer to hunt alone or in small groups of two, but he see's no use in it. To him, a lone wolf should hunt as a lone wolf, alone, but a pack wolf should hunt as just that, a pack. He always tells others there is strength in numbers, and he's true. This goes along hand-in-hand with his skill with creating plans. Roo's excellent at creating and executing plans for both battle and for the sake of the hunt.
{.Weaknesses.}
• Family - Not all of his family is dead, in fact, most of his family is alive. To be honest, he just does not mix well with his own blood. Just like any family, he is prone to full fledged fights over the smallest things. Family brings out the bad side in Ryck-o-Shay, his anger and his fear arise when his family is around, but for a good reason. I just wouldn't be around him when he's got family around as chances are, you will not know him.
• Anger- Roo has an acute sense of anger that is brought out by many things; Disloyalty, Disrespect, Dishonor, Family, ect. When Roo has a switch that he can flip, it turns off and on his compassion and caring towards other living things, including his pack mates. When the flip is switched, he becomes a raging monster, one with a crude sense of humor, and doesn't die down until he's done something seriously wrong. Whenever Roo comes dangerously close to flipping the switch, he knows it. He will try to give a warning, but the signs will all be there; panting, shaking legs, staring down, desperately trying to calm down. It takes a lot to anger Roo to the point where he flips the switch, but it's not impossible, however he doesn't care who he hurts when he's flipped it.
{.History.}
Many other say it, but not all can mean in the sense that Roo does. He's been to Hell and back a few times, learning from his mistakes at the cost of a high price. All life begins with birth, however his is not a glorious tale to tell. The brute was born in a litter of five, him being the only male. Unfortunately, both of his parents were Omegas, therefore his birth, and the birth of his sisters were forbidden. Deciding that it would be best to keep a strong son, his parents abandoned him close to camp, washing away their scent in the nearby river. With much regret, their other four pups were found and killed, as females were more of a nuisance in the pack than males tended to be.
Fortunate enough for him, it was the alpha male's mate who found Roo alone, starving, and cold by the riverbed near camp. Due to the fae's inability to have pups, the alpha pair decided to raise the brute as their own, to be an heir of the pack. The pack was an extremely large one, the reason he had wanted to leave in the first place. Once Ryck-o-Shay reached the age to leave on his own, he chose to do so, his birth parents announcing his actual rank to the pack the day he'd chosen to leave.
In a fit of fury, the alpha brute attempted to kill him, however was not able to bring himself to end the life of his adopted pup -though there were consequences. Both omegas were made an example of, killed in front of the entire pack while their son was force to watch, however thankfully for Roo, he had no strong feelings towards them. Within a day however, he'd been demoted from Future Alpha to an Omega's omega.
For the next year, he was treated with such brutality, and hostility, enough to make a wolf want to end it's miserable life, however Roo held onto the idea of better days. He'd become the laughing stock and punching bag of the pack, falling prey to all of the unkind words and anger that the pack had held. One night, he'd been drug from his sleep and thrown into the camp circle by the beta male, unaware that he'd just killed both of the brute's adoptive parents and claimed the title of the alpha male. The attacking brute's first order of business was to end the disgrace of an omega that Roo was, however the brute decided to taunt Roo first. Shaking legs, heavy panting, and staring at the ground was Roo's reaction, at least before he flipped a switch he'd never acknowledged he had. Within a second or two of flipping the switch, the Alpha's ranting was cut short with a violent, bone shivering snicker. Roo attacked without hesitation, ripping mercilessly into the brute's neck as he squirmed helplessly beneath his paws. For any other wolf, it wouldn't have been possible, but his built up rage and anger made it possible.
After what'd happened, Roo left his pack for their safety, living alone for a year or two before meeting his future mate, Lyra. The fae had left her pack a year after normal age as she'd not gotten along with them either. The couple hit off, and before the end of Winter, Lyra was carrying pups. The two were searching for a place to live when Lyra couldn't go any further. She'd told Roo to go ahead and find a suitable territory and perhaps a packmate or two, however instead, the two got separated. It was almost a month before Roo returned. He'd picked up a loner on the way, however due to her attitude, the two had gotten into a fight and it'd ended in a bite that'd caused extreme blood loss.
Lyra and Roo were reunited after two months of being apart, and upon arrival, he met his two sons, Avion, a promising warrior, and Chek, a weakling sure to be an omega. In the same week, Roo'd gone out to hunt and come across a hostile loner, Nette and her pup, Lupa. He'd managed to escape her hostility unharmed, however within the next hour, he'd found her pup abandoned near camp. Lyra and Roo raised her as their own, and she was loyal to them. During the later summer, Lyra and Roo split again, this time on purpose to raise their pups for specific traits, Lyra training Lupa how to be a proper fae, and Roo training Chek and Avion how to be a proper gentlemen, hunting for the pack and defending it with their lives.
To both of their dismay, none of the pups remained with the small pack, all leaving to start their own. In spring, when the pack met back up, Lyra and Roo were once again alone, their first task at hand was to gather more pack mates before having more pups. While it seemed like the right idea at the time, it was one of the worst things he'd ever done. The two stumbled upon a group of trained human wolf hunters. Roo escaped, but not without getting grazed by bullets more than five times and loosing his mate to a lucky head-shot. Despite his extreme despair, he was able to pull himself together and get through the next three seasons before he realized he needed to find another pack -then he met the Vanishing Shadows pack. The brute ran with them for only a month before deciding it wasn't the pack for him, and soon after departure, he found the White Mist wolves, falling instantly into their grasps and becoming one of their most skilled hunters.

Crisp cool air rushed into the den as Roo shifted a bit, his mind snapping awake in response. The brute glanced around eagerly, checking frantically to make sure he was still in the safety of his den and not another's. With a huff of satisfaction and a shiver to warm his body, Ryck-O-Shay stood to his paws and left his den, which was, most of the time, warmer than the air outside.
The difference in temperature from his den to the air outside didn't give Roo as much of a shock as it would most younger others. Perhaps five winters ago it would have been different, but by now, the brute was more that used to it. The wolf flicked one of his brown and black mottled ears as his eyes scanned the camp for signs of his pack mates. By the scent, he'd assessed that most were long gone, starting their daily duties. He, however, had chosen to sleep in after a long night of hunting.
The brute's stomach let out a roar of protest as he thought of the prey he'd killed. He'd not eaten a single morsel of food in over three days in order to keep the pack fed and happy, a sacrifice he was more than willing to make with the Vanishing Shadows growing stronger every moment. For the time being, he was the only White Mist hunter, and he had mouths to feed.
Roo jogged out of camp, immediately turning towards the pack's meadow hunting grounds. He hoped to catch a hare, or perhaps a bird of prey or a fox, out for the same meal. Either way, he wasn't going to attempt anything bigger, at least, not alone. Taking on anything bigger than a fawn or a newborn elk would take at least a group of three, and it would be difficult with just three.
Without wasting a moment, the hunter turned his head to the ground, inhaling all of the scents of the area and sorting them out, threats, non-threats, large prey, and small prey. A single strain of hare drew in his attention and his nose went to work tracking it down. This time of year, the hares would have shed their spring and summer coat and taken on a white one to replace it, making spotting them harder, however they did have a specific scent to their winter coat.
Not to far off in the distance, Roo could hear the innocent squeaks of young adult hares, barely ready to leave their nest and their mother behind. The thought of food brought to the brute's mind was enough to make the decision to push forwards instead of backing off. Showing not an ounce of mercy, and humanely as possible, Roo picked them off one by one as they attempted to flee their home. It was a desperate move, and typically, he would have left them behind to make sure the babies would have a chance to reproduce more hares, but food was scarce, and he'd learned to take it where he got it.
With a hunter's pride, the brute raised his head, a larger, more plump rabbit hanging from his jaws next to three smaller, yet still plump bodies. He held his tail high in triumph as he started towards camp, satisfied with the kills he'd made for his pack and hoping the alpha was there to eat. Roo'd always had a respect problem, he wouldn't dare eating until the alpha had been fed, and that was just him, even if he hadn't eaten in three days, it was what he preferred.

Ryck-O-Shay zoned out, his body sideways across the forest floor and his eyes staring ahead at the distant foliage. With so many hunters in the pack, Roo hardly had to do anything, however he hated to make the fact an excuse. The brute let out a long sigh, coming back into reality and making his way to his paws, quickly deciding he'd hunt.
Almost immediately after standing, the ebony hunter's nose went strait to the ground, sorting out the scents of the forest and picking a single strain of prey -pheasant. It wasn't often that the pack got the pleasant meal of a large bird, so finding one was a treat. Typically, either the killer would eat it, or the alpha would, however he wasn't hungry and he doubted Phantom would be.
The brute shook his coat, lifting his head to spot the bird he'd been tracking picking off seed in the meadow. Without thinking, Roo leapt in to the air, coming down fast and hard on the bird. He crunched down on it's neck, killing it instantly and lifting his head with a pheasant hanging from his jaws.
It didn't take long for Roo to find his way back to camp, but eventually he did. His yellow eyes searched the wolves around him, trying to spot someone to give the bird to as a gift. When he couldn't find anyone, the brute turned towards the Omegas, Fantasy in particular. He'd always had a soft spot for omegas, as he'd spent a year treated as one, and one on the worst side of the chain at that. He set the bird down, nosing it towards her. "Here, eat this Fantasy." He told her, standing back up strait and taking a few steps back.
((I apologize, my mind it completely blank and useless. I'm going on three days without sleep))
