The darker ears and darker tipped tail moved a bit. She nodded at Labrador, and gave the male a small smile as she did so. She wasn't going to tell any-wolf he was kind of attractive. Her crush was on Liberty, anyway, but she had...other feelings.

She moved forward, nose taking in all scents as she went. She expected there to be a herd, considering the buck they'd found was healthy. They made a sound of worry as she looked at them then away. They saw the misery in her eyes...and knew it was because of Rusted's passing. They went and nuzzled her, then looked to Althea. "Althea...what do we do?" they asked the other healer.

Deep foresty green eyes with gold ringing the pupils looked between them. The white foot black phase she wolf glanced to Blaze as he then spoke to Liberty. She dipped her head a moment, then shook it before raising it. She hummed a canine sound, then let a breath out of her mouth. She shook her head again, and flicked her tail a couple times. She tilted her head as he mentioned working with Starlight wolves. She almost asked if that was such a bad idea, but instead kept quiet. She raised her head higher to sniff the air. All she smelled yet were their own scent markings, but that could change...she knew.

She smiled a wolf smile when their alpha thanked her. She nodded at him, and said "You're welcome," then continued to walk. She watched as he looked ahead with yellow eyes. She tilted her head a bit as she watched, then shook her head. She sniffed again, but still, nothing seemed out of place. Nothing seemed out of place, yet. She flicked her tail a couple times, and perked her ears. She kept an eye out, and nodded at Destiny, saying "We'll keep an eye out, we won't let out guard down."

Her eyes looked to the mouse pile to the back ' well I will come to get that later if there are some ticks or fleas being found' she wondered. She took the herbs and carefully cared them to the healer's den "eat those herbs Whisper" she dropped the borage leaves, juniper berries, and sorrel to him "they are for your fever, stomachache, and appetite" she said to him, before turning to Foxleap "you eat some raspberry leaves, they will work as a painkiller" she said to the fighter.

She looked around the camp "yeah there is now a little more peaceful to sneak out...maybe we could give chance...all we need to get into those bushes there and we're pretty much out of their sight?" she said. Elle slowly swung her body into an anxious pace, her eyes pressed to the den. "Oh, I feel bad if we missed it. I wonder if there's something we could do. The healers are there, though..."
Her body froze midstep, her paw lingered in the air, crooked close to her ribcage.
"What if we go to the Meadow and find skullcap or wild lettuce?" She looked back at Mikage. When she'd left the valley earlier, it was still quiet, and the rival pack had yet to get there. To her the valley was still safe.

Jessie's report delighted Kaija. His selfishness clouded his judgement on this one, and it took all of his will to swallow his excitement about chasing this buck.
"I will fetch Castor and River..." Stealthily he turned and followed the tree-line. The bird song filled the woods at the edge of the meadow as they danced from one limb to another. The flit of the little birds wings as they sprang from branch to branch, chittering as Kaija passed by, distracted him momentarily. He had forgotten in that moment where the party split. He sniffed the air and then the ground.

The pup ran out of the den, unnoticed. She looked behind her. *it's time to go..* she told herself. The pretty white pup ran out of camp, exiting for the last time. She felt abandoned and hopeless. Destiny could tell that even with her attempt of reassurance, Dante was still in his head. She sighed softly, hoping one day he would be able to open up more. However, she was thankful for his presence and him in general. For them both to be a little reserved meant patrols in silence weren't awkward. But rather pleasant. His passing was sad and she could feel the effect it had on his wolves even from across the border. The new Alpha, seemed to run a tight ship. Their markers were always strong and always kept up with. Destiny flicked her tail "His replacement seems more sure of his pack and where they stand. Their markers and their scent is much stronger recently than previous years" she commented. "Hopefully they are having decent luck with prey. I'd hate to see them downfall due to lack of prey running" she added softly

Blaze flicked an ear at Liberty's comment. He was pleased at the confirmation that he could speak with Castor when they arrived back at the camp. He figured it would work out as so. Blaze nodded and confirmed with a "Yes Liberty. I don't see Castor not agreeing" he stated as they proceeded closer to the border. At the Alpha's next comment, Blaze turned his head briefly to look at Liberty, a small head tilt following suit. "Will do" he confirmed before turning back to their patrol. However, he was curious as to what this meeting could entail.

Shaking the thought out of his head and returning to the focus of the patrol, Blaze scented the air again. Something faint, but different filled his nostrils. He turned to look at Liberty and Gauge "No to alarm either of you - but we are not alone approaching the boarder" he commented before narrowing his eyes as he looked towards the brush on the Starlight Side of the border.
