Cherokee-Lead mare-Tags Azumi

Cherokee looked at Azumi and smiled. "What are you laughing about?" She asked playfully. She snorted affectionately. Cherokee unfolded her legs to get up, but suddenly fult a sharp pain. She collapsed onto her side. Her foal was kicking ferociously. Cherokee was already eleven and a half months pregnant, and mares usually started foaling after twelve months. She was almost positive her foal was coming.She knew it would be a few hours before the foal was ready, so she tried to relax.

Apollo-Stallion-Tags Kuboki

Apollo smirked and galloped away playfully, raising his head trying to show off. Apollo leaped through the tall grass, showing off his muscles, but soon tripped over a rock, and rolled a few tail lengths across the meadow. He got up and shook his mane, dislodging a few blades of grass. He puffed out his chest. "Ummmm... yeah... that was on purpose! Just trying to....practice my rolling skills?"
He said making up an excuse.

She broke into snorts of amusement when he fell, trotting over to assist him. "Hmm.. Sure. Well, your rolls need some work." She teased, trotting coolly around him. She flicked her coarse tail gently in his face, a smirk on her muzzle. "But rolling isn't going to impress me." She teased, her gaze softening flirtatiously. Her ears hovered above her crown, elegantly swiveling back and forth.

Azumi was about to answer, when she buckled to her knees. Was the foal coming? He was both nervous and excited by the though. He wasn't going to worry though. Mother nature instilled something in Cherokee and he knew she could handle it, with his support of course. He trotted over, allowing her to lean against him. "Just tell me if you need anything."

Cherokee panted as she went through her labor. This was her first foal, and she had so many questions that she didn't know the anwers to, the kind of questions that a first time mother would ask her own mother about, but Cherokee knew she couldn't do that.(Fade to black) About 30 minutes later, Cherokee heaved herself to her hooves, and looked down gently at her beautiful colt. She bent her head down, grooming the colt, helping to circulate his blood, and regulate his body heat.

Apollo smirked. "Well I think my rolling skills are very attractive." He teased affectionately.

Kuboki rolled her eyes. "Sure.. Sure." She teased, turning away from him to sprint down the meadow. She buckled her knees, rolling over with ease. She sat up, looking strange since she was resting like a dog would. "Thats how you roll dear." She mocked, standing up with a laugh.

Azumi grinned, nosing the colt gently. A boy! He would have loved a filly just the same, but the thought of teaching him made him excited! "You should name him." He insisted, nudging Cherokee gently.

Calum's eyelids peeled back for the first time, but everything was blurry. His eyesight adjusted, he could see more clearly, and everything was so beautiful. He lifted his head dizzily, understanding this palamino must be his mother. And the other his father. He squealed with delight, instantly attempting to stand up, His knees wobbled as they tried holding his small body. He was unusually large for a newborn, but ever so delicate. He was up 30 minutes before the average foal, and was leaning against his mother for support. His eyes flickered from everything to the next. He had so many questions to ask. "Hello mother and father.
What is this?" He asked, tentatively touching the spiky green things that shot up from the ground. He realed back in delight.

Cherokee was surprised when Azumi gave her permission to name the foal that he sired. "How's Calum?" She asked her mate.She waited for his response as she watches her baby explore. " That's grass honey. That what we eat." She answered her colt.

Apollo-Stallion-Tags Kuboki

Apollo laughed as the mare gave him a lesson on how to roll. "Okay, maybe your roll is just a little better than mine."
He teased playfully.
