Owl looked at Sky. "Why do you hate the fact that Flint and Lost are mates?" The black wolf asked. "Because, Lost is a trainer! Or did you forget?" Sky growled, her hackles rising. "No, I didn't forget that." Owl woofed. Sky nodded, and was about to turn away when Owl sad. "Why can't you at least try to like her and Flint?" Owl asked. Sky turned to Owl. "I already told you!" She growled. Owl lowered herself to the ground. "Is it because of that caste system your old pack had?" Owl asked. Sky nodded, and Owl rolled her eyes. "Get OVER that! You're not in that pack anymore! Forget their rules!" And with that Owl padded off.

She padded outside, her fur waving in the wind. She knew there was ice and simply used her claws to hang on. She had a smile on her face as she walked to the fresh kill pile. She picked up a rabbit and moved to the clearing. She dug out some ice and replaced it with moss. She sat down and ate her rabbit. Things were different now, with Aria swept away and the spotlight turned somewhere else. She felt pretty lonesome in the last few moons. She had very thick fur so she was warm. She lay in the moss nest and ate more of the rabbit, lost in thoughts. She felt like there was still a spark inside her. She used to be different but she was changed when she was left to be the unloved one. She tried her best but whenever she made a friend her heart broke. She sighed and finished the rabbit, looking at the wolves that avoided her.
