Dozer skidded to a stop looking at the Sheepdog astonished that he dared to ignore his queen's call. H snarled softly.

Lyon heard a snarl and looked up. He sighed and put his head back down. "There is no point in going just to be locked up again."

Jenny looked at an open cage that still had a creature in it. She ran in and yelped in surprise to see that the creature looked much like a lion. Jenny had never really seen a lion and only knew about them the descriptions her mother had said in her stories. The creature fit everything perfectly except in size. Her mother said lions were huge, of the few cats that could truly challenge a dog. This creature had more of a doggish size. "Mommy, you lied to me," said Jenny to her mom, who had run in after her, "You said lions were HUGE! This one is no bigger than any other dog I have seen!" April sighed and said, "That is because he ISN'T a lion, he's a sheepdog." Then she lost her breath as he looked at creamish dog. He was very handsome, but there was something about him... April decided it was his eyes. His blue eyes reminded her of her lost mate. April breathed deeply and introduced herself in a whisper, "Hi. I'm April. This is my daughter Jenny," she said as she flicked her tail in her daughter's direction.

Dozer angrily stalked away. How could he not answer the call of his queen? Well Dozer would answer it

Lyon lifted his head looking at the two. He frowned. "Can't a dog get any sleep!" He shook his head and sat up tall. "Hello, I am Lyon."

Jenny wagged her tail and said, "Well, you're awake now! Come on, lets follow the big dog!" She bounded of yet again and April sighed another tired sigh. "Nice to meet you Lyon," said April. "I should probably follow Jenny and make sure she doesn't get in trouble." April then bounded after Jenny, hoping Lyon would follow. I just don't want him to get in trouble. was the excuse she had for her wish.

Marian stood on a tall rock looking at her pack- Her Palace Pack. She howlEd and all of her pack members joined in.

Lyon frowned, he didn't see the point of getting up and going just to be locked up again. He followed the two and sat towards the back of the group.

Glorian sat in front of the rock and waited anxiously for what she would say. Jake carefully walked around the dogs and sat next to Glorian. He then asked her, "So, um... who's her?" Glorian gaped at Jake as if he had suddenly grown an extra head. "Why, she's Marian of course! Only our queen!" Jake was embarrassed to have asked such a question, since it seemed everyone knew the answer. Since there could only be one queen-dog, he considered it safe to ask who the rest of the dogs were. "So, uh, what do you know about the rest of the dogs?" Glorian sighed softly and answered, while pointing at each dog in turn, "Well, that one is Malick, one of the Kings dogs, and that one is Dozer, the one who opened the pens. I guess he is a guard dog of some sort. That one over there is Lyon." Glorian said Lyon's name softly, and Jake really hoped it didn't mean she had a crush on Lyon. He guessed Lyon was what humans and girl-dogs alike called "handsome". If that was true, and you added being a pure bred, it would mean game over for Jake.
