I opened my mouth to object but without thinking spoke. "Alright." I don't exactly take it back, seeing the town doesn't sound bad. But it was more the idea that anyone I know seeing me walking around town late at night with some random stray, well rumors would go around. And wasn't in any way impressed but at least this tom had more, well flare then most of the toms I've met. So I guess I just agreed to spend my night with some tom I don't even know the name of. Well, better then being stuck in the house, I decided.


I nodded my head. "Can I come?" I asked Shadow. I didn't like this she-cat and would much rather go back to the other part of town, where there were far less humans and far less pets. So I looked questioningly at Shadow, my tail twitching slightly.

"Sure." Shadow said taking a quick glance at Zeus and Sienna.

Zeus turned to Vixen,"Wait wait wait I'll take you two tu' 'da alley first."he said turning back to the she-cat he added,"I'll meet you t'night eight o'clock sharp.Right here.Names Zeus by the way."Zeus said with a nod.

"Thanks Zeus, but I have to go and uhhhhmmmmm." She tried to think. "Get my herbs! Yeah, I have to get my herbs!" She said and started to walk off.

"I'm Sienna." I meowed, blushing slightly. I felt oddly connected to Zeus. Not in a friendship or romantic way but I kinda saw a father in him. As if he was somebody to look up to and to respect. I don't know, but whatever the reason I trusted him.

Be a rebel for a change,be free. Those words repeated in my head. He was right, right now I wasn't free. Right now I was nothing but a human play toy. So now I sat there, counting the seconds before eight, when I can have my first taste of freedom.

Zeus turned back to Vixen and nodded his head,"Com'om we're almost there."He squeezed past Vixen and shot across the fence,hoping Vixen could keep up.When the two cats reached the end of the community Zeus leaped over the fancy golden gate.Landing swiftly on the other side he looked to make sure Vixen was following before pelting down the street taking turns and jumps quickly,he had to get this cat home before eight.

Shadow sighed as she sorted the herbs she would keep. 'I'll keep the Marigold, but I can find new cobwebs.' She thought. 'Snake Breath is hard to find, so I'll keep that to.' She thought. 'I wonder if I'll get to see new herbs? Oh well, I need to get back to Vixen and Zeus.' She thought, then she put her herbs in a woven leaf pouch, tied it up and picked it up and started to go where she left them before.
