Braxel turned and jogged after Nikki through the clearing and out of camp. The other fae was ahead of her, but she didn't mind. She preferred to hunt small game alone anyway. The halfbreed slowed her stride down to a trot and nodded toward Raven. "Hey." She murmured, not yet sure if he'd respond yet or not. He didn't talk very much it seemed, and never to her, but there was always a first time for everything. "We're taking out a hunting party. You wanna join in?" If she had someone with her, there was a chance she could take down a doe, or, if they were lucky, a buck.

The silver brute studied her. She seemed calm and not as on guard as a normal alpha would. He flicked his ears back and slipped through a few trees and into the small batch of poppy. Softly he sat down a bit away from her, his eyes focusing on her, trying to figure out what he couldn't. Then he noticed her eyes. They were a creamy white, that of a blind wolf. He perked his ears up confused, but pushed it away and referred to her statement. "A spy never reveals his name." He smiled, his voice having a joking like tone to it. "Especially to the one they spy upon." He finished dipping his head, knowing she couldn't even really see his actions. Though perhaps she could sense them.

fae - a l p h a - single
The fae let out a soft chuckle and mimicked him, sitting down. She now recognized his scent. He was the male from earlier that day. But his friend wasn't with him. Thankfully, since she was the dangerous one, but it still seemed odd. Aimée smiled, her eyes now bright. The brute seemed friendly enough, and he wasn't going to attack. "My name is L'Esprit Aimée, though everyone calls me Aimée. I am the alpha fae of the Occulte pack." Her name rolled off of her tongue, her sweet and soft voice sounding somewhat French. Carrying on the playful tone of the conversation she added, "I dare you to find something shorter. And who are you brute? I would like to know your name." The wind ruffled Aimée's pelt and it whirled in all directions. Her long fur seemed to have a mind of its own, seeming to just run or fly away, never to cease its play.

His coat ruffled in the wind along with hers. Each tuft of hair danced with another tuft and fell back down. His pelt was not as fluffy as hers, his was a bit long and thick, not fluffy. He couldn't smell any type of prey on her. Most wolves would have the scent of prey or blood from their meal earlier that day. She lacked of this smell it puzzled him. His brain spoke her name several times, just so he will not forget it. Softly he spoke his, "Argos." It wasn't anything special. He said it quite bluntly and boring. "Not used to cold weather are you?'" The brute asked his tail swishing along the ground, which was growing frozen. As winter and fall came around the ground began freeze over and the trees began to tilt. It was something that always puzzled this brute, but he often ignored it.

the fae shook her head and sighed. Her pelt was long, but very thin. It had suited her well in her old home, but not here. Not where it was so cold even in the summer months. "No, I'm really not. My coat is too thin even for these breezes. I have to keep moving or I get a little cold." It was true, though she enjoyed the cold, Aimée got cold very easily. Even now, sitting to talk with this loner made her cold. Every so often the alpha inhaled, taking in the scent of her surroundings and making sure Argos was alone. "Argos," she repeated quietly. "I like it. What brings you here? Spying on a fae but doing her no harm?"

The brute did feel bad for these southern wolves. Their coats were awfully thin, and not too suited for this cold weather. He looked behind him to make sure Vestra hadn't woken up and followed. He looked at the fae in front of him and listened to her, keeping quite till she had finished. Softly he stood to his paws and shook out his pelt. Dust and debris falling from his hunt. The scent of the large doe they had killed wafting off him. His left ear flopped down and he looked Aimée thinking about her question. "Checking to see who was here and to warn them they need to keep moving." He said with a laugh. "We ought to move a bit further away, in case my loner friend wakes up." He finished his sentence moving in the direction the elk meal was.

Wilte wrote:Roland's ear twitched at the stirrings of some movement just behind him, causing him to once again pause. For a moment, as attention swiveled to the source of this almost noiseless disruption of the silence in the camp, he tilted his head slightly. Ah, so he had awakened Tenshi after all. Postponing his other duties in favor of this one, Roland headed back towards the fae, a noticeable liveliness in his step. He'd regained his pleasing expression, making it seem that the Brute was genuinely happy to see her. His smile returned at once upon closing the gap between them enough so that they would be able to speak.
"Miss Tenshi?" He addressed her quietly, but in a friendly way, almost with the same hesitancy as before. His voice, to a one unfamiliar with it, was young and smooth, and as if every word was spoken with importance. It was one of his more defining features, but seldom recognized by those receiving it.
Roland lowered his head in politeness, his tail reacting in a similar way. Seeing that the fae had taken to hiding her face, he immediately wondered why; feeling a stroke of pity touch him lightly. Yes, it may be so that he was needed, here. Presently, he let the notion of his former duties fade completely from his mind.
Casually approaching her once more, her ambled towards her as if approaching an old friend, until he was nearly right beside her. He was careful to make sure that his own eyes radiated kindness, and little more. Perhaps a hint of concern in there as well.
"Are you feeling well today, Miss Tenshi?" He addressed her again in this former gesture. It was one of the only things that stood out in contrast to his rather casual, laid-back approach. Still, it was spoken in the art of the latter, as if not to be easily given away.

Rising onto my feet, I was left with nothing to
do but accept these inexplicable truths as my last source of comfort.
I wasn't dead. At least, I didn't think so. I don't remember how I got here, or why I came. I could possibly be dreaming, I suppose; that would explain the terribly strange occurrences that haunt every footstep taken in this place. The land itself is disorienting; the scents are dull and I'm beginning to forget things, like my name.
Rylan.
I hadn't lost it yet, the way I have already lost myself, and I can't seem to find a way home. Home. I need to go back, but somehow the task seems impossible. I don't even know which way to walk. I'm tired. And alone. And wet.
But I'm not afraid.➜ Servidae on deviantart.com :: Currently drawing. :: Offline.

fae - a l p h a - single
The fae rose and followed Argos by his scent and voice. It was sometimes hard to follow wolves this way, but since not many were around she managed. She followed in silence, thinking about what he had said. He had been joking when he said they should keep moving, right? And what if he was right. Aimée had led her pack without thinking, in order to save them. North seemed most natural, but had she actually doomed them? What if the winter killed them or The Gray found its way north? Maybe had she stayed just a bit longer they could of heard about a warmer place that was safe from the disease. Or maybe had she stayed a moment longer the pack would have perished. She shook her head to clear it, and accidentally bumped into Argo's side.
"I'm sorry, I guess I didn't know how close to you I was. I can't see to we'll." Aimée could feel him now, they were so close. She wasn't touching him, but she could feel his heat. How did she end up like this? Following a strange brute she just met out into the wilderness. If her sense of smell wasn't so good the alpha would be done for, since she wouldn't be able to find her way back. Thankfully she could follow their scent trail back, but she still didn't know where she was and the situation was still odd. "So where are we going?"

Argos continued walking in silence. His paws hitting the earth as he checked to make sure he was headed the right direction. He began to wonder if the fae could keep up with running. Maybe she couldn't, he looked back and she was still following at close pace with him. He smiled, maybe she could keep up. Then he felt her bump into him and he looked at her listening to her apology. He nodded and continued walking. "I feel a bit bad that Vestra hasn't been so kind to you guys, so ill help you out." He said answering her question as to where they were going. Well he kind of wasn't, he was making his answer seem like a riddle. His pace slowed as he could smell the flesh of the doe they killed. It wasn't too far away and his tail began to wag with joy. This was his second trip out here today, and he loved coming out here. The trees of the forest began to fade and the brown grass of the field came into view.

Raven
Brute|Hunter|currently talking to Braxel
Raven looked up at Braxel and watched as she approached him. His piercing yellow eyes looked up at her. "Sure I'll go." he said softly. He rose to his feet and looked back at Braxel. I wonder who else is coming he thought to himself looking around for other hunters.
Lily
Fae|Hunter|alone for now
Lily walked out of her den and looked around. She noticed Nikki and some other hunters and padded "Nikki." she said once she caught up. "Hey can I join you guys?" she asked.
