Flo heard something, smelt it, too. A herd of elk, not far away. She smiled, then ran off through the undergrowth. Silently, she stalked the calf, waiting for the right moment.

Kiree Nudged the large dogs flank " Lets go then!" and she zipped off towards the hunting grounds.

Flo growled, her usual technique, and then slithered around to the other side of the undergrowth. Whilst the elk were interested in the noise, she crept up silently on the calf. Then she bit down hard on it's neck. The calf fell to the floor and Flo stayed low. She howled to let them know she was there and they fled. Then she tucked into her dinner.
