Inferno lifted his head as Nightingale spoke, nickering and nosing her with a smile. He was in truth a good stallion that would give his life for one he cared for. He was happy someone had noticed that at last. Turning back to Iris he began to gently groom her pelt and mane as she seemed to fall alseep. Inferno hoped she would stay...saftey was in numbers and he wanted to ensure they were both safe. He feared only being blessed with one mare… Then she would become lonely and the foal would have no socialization. Iris seemed a kind and strong mare, something he admired. Lowering his head, he set it against the roan mare's neck, hus other side against Nightingale.

"Thanks...I will be okay." Dee nickered to the stallion. She soaked in the warmth from the stallion, her heat smell only becoming more evident as she stood and warmed up. Her dark contradicting tail flicked against her white hocks.Sepia eyes glancing around the slight shelter she huddled her legs together and surpressed a shiver.

Nightingale closed her eyes, the bubbling at the pit of her stomach growing worse and worse. She wondered if she should tell Inferno or not. She would..she'd do it in the morning, that is if she could fall asleep. Blinking away the burn of her eyes, she watched the blizzard. Deciidng that she would be on 'watch duty' for the time being. Iris seemd like a strong mare, that would help in survival dearly. Perhaps..no. The Shire mare layed her head down on her hooves, watching the screaming flurries of ice.

Broken smiled, grooming the rest of the ice from Harmony's mane. He was glad he found hher. Watching the snow blow past them, protected under the green of the tree. The stallion stuck his muzzle out, pulling it back in. Seeing the sharp ice and snow burn his nose. He rubbed ir against hisi arm, the blizzard would be over soon. Atleast he hoped, he hoped more horses survived this one than last years or the years before that.

Inferno was unable to sleep, and turned to Nightingale. She seemed to be uncomfortable. "You okay?" He quietly asked and sniffed her. She did nit smell of sickness or injury. His eyes fixed on her for a reply. A 'nothing' would not work for him. Concerned for her well being he flicked his ears.

After a while, Lucky gave up. He snorted as an ending, and trotted off. He saw a stallion (Broken) with a mare. He neighed loudly, then galloped noisily over. Elegently, Luck halted about a meter away from the mare (Harmony) neatly with his side. His hind legs sent a shower of snow onto the stallion, while Lucky's mane raged in the blizzard.

Nightingale looked at him "I'm fine" she smiled, flicking her tail. She wouldn't go in heat, she never really did. The mare brushed some snow off her belly. "It's nothing.." she added. Sticking her black tail out of the cave, seeing white speckle her tail then return to black. She blinked, should she tell him? it be best too..

Broken shook the snow off, standing in front of his mare. He frowned stomping his hoof. A message that he was hers. Like any other stallion, Broken had a very protective side. Espaclly with mares of his own. He narrowed his eyes, if he had to fight he would. Snorting, he flicked his tail, stepping close to Harmony.

Lucky lowered his head challengingly. He snorted and flicked an ear, smiling lightly, slightly amused. This young stallin was always ready for a good fight, whatever the weather. "Come on then," Lucky whispered quietly, just enough for the other stallion to hear. He slid one hoof on the snow like a bull.

Broken sighed, rolling his eyes but smirked. Making sure Harmony was alright, he sauntered towards the young stallion. Broken was sweet and kind, but when trouble comes. Well.. The Thoroughbred snorted loudly, lashing his tail. Eyes narrowed, he waited for the Stallion to make his move. Broken preferred to save his energy, rather than waste it.

Lucky narrowed his eyes. He waited patiently, to make his move more a shock, or if the other stallion went first, he could get out of the way. He snorted, shaking his head a little as a snowflake landed in his nostril.

Hearing her answer he nosed her. "I know there must be something." Inferno nickered and flicked her ears. The stallion looked out the entrance breifly before back to Nightingale. She seemed to be considering something which made him eager. "I would never make you leave for anything. I welcome any strong mare that I see. You have nothing to worry aboit sweet." Inferno said softly and focused on her.

Watching two stallions readying to fight Dee took a step or two to see them better. She could barely make out the figure of a mare.out there. "Well look at that." The skinny mare chuckled and snorted at her strengthening heat smell. Her slightly frosted dark hair shivered in the breeze.
