Cobalt walked after the two mares, not attempting to outrun them.

Snowflake broke off into a lope right away, used to the racing strategy. She never listened to it. The blue grass hills were always smooth, that why racing was so popular here.

Wildfire took off after Snowflake, catching up quickly. Her hooves hitting the ground as fast as they came up. Her mane and tail flying in the wind, as she was thinking "Oh, it feels so good to run again!"

Night Circus sighed and fell asleep, not feeling a desire to converse with anyone or attract the attention of any humans.

Shadow nickered and paced in his stall. He didn't like this Cobalt, most likely because he felt like Cobalt was put in a position higher than he. It made him feel closed in and desperate.

Indian's Rancer looked at the stallion next to him. "What's your problem?" He asked. Indian was fixed, so he never really cared who got the mares.

Shadow glanced over at Indian Racer, "Cobalt gets all the mares.." he shook his head, "It feels so weird. At my old stable I was the stud, I got all the mares."

"Maybe because they have been around of him longer. each mare is different." Indian said. "Hey boy, what's your name?" He asked.

"It does!" Snowflake answered. She was going to limit her running.

Cobalt trotted after the two happily.

"I assume you're right," The black stallion replied with as much dignity as he could muster, "and my name's Shadow."

"nice to meet ya. I'm Indian Rancer, just call me Indian though." He snorted calmly. "Get your pride back up boy, just cause you lost one doesn't mean you lost them all."
