Cavalia turned with head lowered and trotted back to his cave. He didn't even notice Dahlia or Shady. He went to a dark corner and layed down.

Amara walked away from the watering hole. She headed back to the forest with head down and tail between her legs like a dog.

Dahlia sighed and followed Cavalia into the cave. She nuzzled him as soon as she found him. "Cavalia don't get so worked up about her, you have us remember?" the lead mare said though she didn't really use it as a question.

Comet watched her leave. He knew that it was really up to his mares to decide who would be welcomed into the herd. He knew who had made her leave though, Ace. Though he didn't act as if he knew.

Goldie jumped in surprise, "Sneaky!" she called and turned around after Zorin. After a few moments ahe cought up to him and tapped his headquarters, "Your turn!"

Shady saw Cavalia pass her in a melancholy mood. She knew not to bother him even though he was hurting inside. She looked after him for a moment and then entered the cave after Dahlia, offering her silent reassurance.

His ears pinned, he followed her to the meadow. He stood a ways behind her. "Are you too cowardly to choose now?" He growled. He didn't mean it, much. He had a bad knack of saying things he didn't mean when he was upset. "If you don't want to be in a herd you should have just said so," his voice cracked with sorrow. He had grown attached to Ash, and just as he thought he found someone to be with for a long time, that hope was crushed.

Ace looked at Comet and Sighed he was more then likly sad about the mare that had just walked off but She couldn't help it Ace was the kind of horse that once she was mad at you there was little chance of that ever changing, she didn't even think it mattered to Comet what she thought about the other mare but now watching her leave and looking at Comet she felt bad.

Cavalia looked up at her and smiled softly to her. He then smiled at Shady. "I know."

Amara looked back at Comet once more then left. She no longer cared about living or dying. She felt broken inside. She would never find a herd. With tears in her eyes she ran far from the watering hole never looking back.

History: He was born in a stable but broke loose at age one. Has been wandering ever since.
