Inferno woke with a start. His heart sunk below the earth. "They took her didn't they?" Muttered Inferno. Stiffly rising he wondered if she would want to return. She came from humans. He flattened his ears. Nosing Night he nickered. "It is not your fault. Stop blaming yourself. " He spoke quietly. The bay moved to where she had been before she was taken and just stood there, facing the way she had gone. His eyes forlorn he frowned. That could not just be...it. Whole broad chest feeling like it was riddled with snakebites and his stomach feeling sick he blinked alowly. "Go and find Stephano.Make sure he is safe and bring him back to Dancer at the cave okay? I do bot feel well. I will just stay out here a little while." Quietly nickered Inferno to the shire. Turning his eyes back to the horizon he just wanted to be alone for a bit.

Nightingale, despite his efforts. S he still beated herself up for it..and would probally for the rest of her life. She just sperated him from his possible mate, SHE was the enemy. Blinking back stinging tears she nodded walking towards the woods, nickering just as the colt came racing out and under her. He shook look up at her with scared eye, because of his sniffling she knew he was crying "Shh..it's going to be alright. I won't let them get you" she promised nuzzling her colt, leading him back to the cave.

Sorrow of An Iris
The blue roan mare awoke with a start as she forgot who she was. The man from her past was besides her, gently rubbing her shoulder. The blue roan mare looked down at her leg that was still clung tightly to her chest. As the man gently tugged on the ropes, it sounded like he was asking for her to stand up. Iris sat up, and the man stepped aside. It was hard to stand up on three legs, but she knew she needed to. There was a woman. She was in jeans and a white blouse tucked into her shirt. She had long dark brown hair that went down to her rib-cage. She held a clipboard and was scribbling down information. The man didn't know much about Iris, but he did know that she had a fiery temper with a quick start up for a fight. As the two humans talked to each other, Iris took in the scenery of the stall. Polished shiny walls surrounded the bottom. About at her shoulder length, the polished wood turned into long bars that where close up squashed next to each other. Snorting softly, she bit down on the mans shirt and yanked backwards gently. He gave her some carrots. Thirstily, she turned towards the bucket of water. Hopping forwards, she shoved her nose into the bucket, splashing the water a few places before drinking in huge wide gulps taking in the fresh cold water. She felt it slip down her throat. As she pulled her muzzle away from the bucket, it was almost empty. Iris perked her ears at the woman as she came to investigate. She said something about Iris healing in a few days or so. That filled Iris with delight. She wouldn't be gone for so long after all. One thing that she terribly wanted to do was get back to Inferno. But as the woman circled Iris and examined her, she seemed quite exited. As she spoke quickly, Iris only understood that they just figured out that Iris was pregnant. The man looked quite stunned. He patted her with a large smile and gave her some more sweets.

The woman tried to take the rope. Unsure about what was about to happen, Iris pinned her ears and snapped her pearls at the vet. The vet jumped backwards startled for a minute before the man took the rope. Iris relaxed and lied back down again. The woman came back with a man, who Iris assumed to be her assistant. They looked her over, and they untied the ropes that held her injured hock to her chest. She had a small muscle spasm from being tied up for to long. As she got the aches out of her leg, Iris payed attention to the vet and he assistant's every move.

Inferno stayed put. Eventually lying down, the bay watched for the arrival of Iris. All of his mares were precious to him, and one being taken was harsh. What if she could not return, or the foal were taken or hurt. Eyes longing as he lied his head down, his body just felt off. Why he was not sure. But he was. Humans were never his friend but cruel and cold commanders that he rejected anymore. Inferno shifted with discomfort and refocused on the horizon. The disfomfort grew more and he rolled back and fourth over the grasses, stopping after a few turns with a groan. Flicking his head back toward his flank he tryng to nip at it he snorted and rolled once more.

Wonder stepped to Inferno; she shook her head and rolled her eyes and yanked the dart out of his flank harshly and quickly without warning. "Good morning sunshine; time to get that mare back." She grunted; and yawned and then his the stallion with her foot. The mare sniffed the ground; tracks. But they didn't look like horse tracks; some weird thing. The mare shrugged and followed the tracks at a fast trot.

A nip at his flank made him wince. But the discomfort was not that. Growing frustrated he rolled over again and stood. That only made him feel worse. Looking at his flanks and winderibg where and why he was so.uncomforable he felt a soreness in hus side where he had taken the fall. His abdomen was hurting. "Wait...I'm coming." He gruffly said though a wave of pain. Shaking it off he had more imposrtant things to get to. Maybe it would he better to wait to see if te humans released her again. This mare was.asking for trouble. He just needed to see Iris was okay and would return. Not that his sore insides were helping.

Edge looked at Dee, sensing something was bothering her. The way her head shot up and she seemed completely taken by some sort of thought that he could never guess. "Dee, whats wrong?" he asked, concern lingering in his deep tone as he nudged the mare gently on the shoulder. "Do you feel sick?" he sounded worried.

Feather squealed as she saw the humans. She couldn't bear the way those strange creatures treated their horses. They hit them with strange sticks and they forced them to do their bidding. She looked at Lucky as he nudged her and she nodded, cantering to run next to Cloud. She stayed as close to her stallion as she could, looking terrified.

Dancer ran after Inferno, finally seeing the cause of this mess. Humans. She snorted angrily and tried to rear on her hind legs, but she was still tired and slightly dizzy so she stumbled awkwardly to the side. She tried to shake it off and saw Inferno, he was clearly in pain. Now it was her turn to help him. She boldly galloped to his side, glaring at the mare who seemed to be either mocking him or trying to help. A female human approached her slowly, hands up as though she meant to be soothing. Dancer bared her teeth and snapped at the human, stamping her hooves down hard as she snorted. Another human approached, smacking her rump with a long stick like object. She squealed and attempted to lash out at him, but it only mad him more mad. He thrashed her again and twirled his rope as he aimed it for her neck and it looped over her head.

Cloud When he saw the humans disappear he slowed down to a stop and gently nuzzled feather "Its ok, their gone now well be ok" he said trying to reassure her and himself, and lucky if he was listening. He began to trot towards the other stallion whose mare was taken "Are you ok, what happened?" he asked inferno.

He turned to answer Cloud but Dancer was roped. Not again. He gave a single kick with his hind legs at a human and clamped his teeth near the other. "No..Dancer not you too." Inferno said with a helpless look. Movement hurt. He gave another kick. The stallon quickly recoiled as his abdomen stung. Inferno groaned quietly and stopped walking. How badly he wantwd to fight off those humans. But he just could not. The pain was resounding.

Dee shook her head. "No...just thinking." She smiled sofly and nosed Edge with a nicker. Flcking her tail behind her calmly the mare looked at him with gracious eyes. She was so happy to have found such a caring stallion. Dee went back to finding more food.
