Destiny’s tail wagged at Cypher’s response, her silver fur shimmering with the motion. She couldn’t help but smile as she listened to him speak, picturing him as a healer. Despite his usual fiery, action-driven nature, she could see it. His kind heart and sense of responsibility would’ve made him a wonderful one. “I could’ve seen you being a wonderful healer,” she mused with a nod, her voice sincere. “You’ve got that calm, steady presence to you that would’ve made you great at it.” She gave him a playful glance, her smile widening. “But I agree—you're a natural leader, Cypher. It’s obvious in the way you speak and carry yourself. That command you have? It can’t be denied.”
Her gaze softened as she looked at him, genuinely appreciating his honesty in sharing his thoughts. It wasn’t easy to open up like that, especially with someone as sharp as Cypher. She admired that, and she wasn’t shy about giving him credit where it was due.
His chuckle about not being able to sit still to heal made her laugh too.
When his question turned toward her, Destiny tilted her head thoughtfully. She had always felt she was a bit of an open book, but there were some stories she only shared with certain wolves, and this was one of them. “If I hadn’t become Alpha…” She hummed, her gaze turning distant for a moment, thinking back to her younger days. “I’d probably still be out there hunting with the rest of the pack. I’ve always loved the chase, the thrill of the hunt. It’s in my blood.”
Her ears flicked as she leaned in closer, her eyes gleaming mischievously. “But as for something no one knows about me… Well, I try to be open, but there is this one thing.” She let out a soft laugh, eyes twinkling. “Back when I was younger, I used to sneak off and explore the pack boundaries. You know, just had to see what was out there.” She grinned at the memory, knowing what a mess it had caused. “One time, I actually made it all the way across the pack lines—completely unnoticed. I got into so much trouble for that. If anyone asks, I’ll still deny it though!” She laughed openly now, shaking her head at the memory of her younger self causing chaos.
Her playful smile lingered as she gave Cypher a sly look. “I may have been a little bit of a troublemaker back then. But hey, it made life interesting, right?” With a wink, she flicked her tail and began to walk away, her pace leisurely. “But I’ll let you think about that secret for a while. Maybe you’ll get another one out of me eventually-besides, I have lots” Her voice carried a teasing lilt as she glanced back over her shoulder. “But for now, It's your turn to ask a question." she commented. Tail wagging with excitement. It was nice to have a change of pace from being completely serious. Destiny could relax around Cypher- and she really liked that. He was the first wolf she was able to open up with almost as much as she had with Dante.

Risen exhaled softly hearing Rhea explain his biggest worry wasn't one too dire. It was nice she understood where he was coming from, and better to know that things wouldn't be as scary as he assumed. She was very wise, and he appreciated her feedback as well as her honesty. He offered another tail wag, showing added comfort with her. His shoulders rising in almost a laugh when she mentioned communication being hard when he can't say as much as he would like.
He carefully watched as Rhea turned upside down, amused at the Omega and appreciative as she made hard conversations not so scary. He laid down in front of her slowly, showing his commitment to their conversation - mainly one vocal conversation but none of the less, his first real time in ages having someone he could kind of communicate with. Flicking an ear at her question, Risen took a deep breath. He shook his head as a no. It hadn't always been this way, he used to be a decent speaker. He actually never stopped talking. Until he was the reason his parents were killed, shaking his head to rid the memory. Risen shamefully looked at his paws. " No- not always." he choked out flattening his ears against his head. "My P-Parents. I-it was M-My Fault" he pieced together.

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
Blaze watched as Nova moved with a calm, steady confidence, however her words about leadership and breaks made him smile softly. "Sounds like you're always on the clock," he commented, his voice low but laced with a hint of dry humor. [/color]
When she mentioned Destiny and Dante, Blaze’s eyes narrowed slightly in thought. He wasn’t one to be overly political, but the importance of the treaty wasn’t lost on him. The tension that had lingered since Liberty's reign was palpable, and anything that could heal those old wounds was worth supporting. He offered a quiet grunt of agreement, though he wondered if Dante had anterior motives for assisting Eros in his return.
"Having Dante back should help ease things," Blaze said, his gaze flicking to the den entrance where the pups had disappeared. "A fresh start, no matter how hard-fought, always comes with its own challenges... but it’s better than staying stuck in the past." He added. Before looking over towards the medic den once more "Hopefully Destiny sees it the same way. We cannot forget Liberty tried setting the Starlight pack to fail."
Blaze paused beside Nova, his posture still and focused. His ears pricked forward, listening for any disturbances, but the quiet was thick with unspoken understanding. Even when he wasn’t speaking, he was constantly aware of the pack’s needs. "You know," Blaze said after a moment, turning to her with a thoughtful expression, "it’s not just the treaty with Destiny you need to think about. The pack’s been through a lot lately. There’s more than just words to mend wounds. Maybe we’ll need to show them what unity looks like." A faint hint of a challenge flickered in his amber eyes. He wasn’t pushing her, but the idea lingered between them like a spark, ready to ignite when the time came.

RedMoon Pack | female |2 years | crush: open | tags: Gauge, Akiro, Willow, Hyuuga
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
River observed the quiet exchange of words, her amber eyes flicking between the group. She was used to the unspoken dynamics of the pack, the way tension could ebb and flow with each movement and word. Today, she could feel it lingering, especially around Hyuuga and Willow. There was something raw about their reunion, and River could sense the weight they each carried.
As she watched Hyuuga’s discomfort, she gave a subtle but warm tail wag, hoping to offer a quiet moment of comfort. She understood what it was like to feel like an outsider, to return to a pack that had been changed in your absence. Hyuuga wasn’t the only one who’d felt that way after the avalanche, and River hoped he would find his place in time, just as she had.
When the conversation turned to Willow’s role in saving Hyuuga, River nodded thoughtfully. She wasn’t one for grand speeches or over-explanation. She preferred to keep things simple, honest. “I’m River,” she said calmly, her voice warm but not rushed. Her gaze softened as she looked at Willow, offering a quiet nod. “Thank you for helping him. The bond you’ve formed with him… it’s something we respect.” Her tail gave a small, encouraging flick, a subtle gesture meant to convey her understanding and appreciation.
River shifted her focus to Gauge, who had mentioned heading back before nightfall. River agreed wholeheartedly. The journey back wasn’t far, but the daylight was slipping away, and there was always the chance of dangers lurking in the shadows. She didn’t want to risk anything, especially not after everything they’d been through. “I agree,” River spoke, her tone neutral but grounded. “We should head back before dark. There’s still a lot to do, and Hyuuga and Willow need rest, as well as a visit to Koa.”
She gave one last glance to Hyuuga, offering him a gentle smile. “It’s good to have you back, Hyuuga,” she said, her voice steady and sincere. River then looked to Willow, noting how she still seemed a little distant, as if waiting for something. River could relate to that feeling, but she hoped it wouldn’t last long for Willow. She had saved Hyuuga, after all, and that alone had earned her a place among them.
"Let's get back to camp," River added with a final glance toward the others, her tail flicking once more in the direction of the path home. She didn't need to say much more. The journey would speak for itself. With a nod toward Gauge and Akiro, she began to move, her pace steady but unhurried. She was focused on the way ahead but kept an ear out for the rest of the group, making sure Hyuuga and Willow were following closely behind. She hadn't been one to ever necessarily take charge, however being the outsider of the patrol assisted her in this case. Maybe she would be able to muster the courage to talk to Castor about how the hunters made her feel useless.
There was something comforting about the quiet of the patrol now, and she knew they'd all need that comfort when they finally returned to camp.
(I wanted to edit hers a bit for more character development).
