Windstorm

The silver bay mare smelled another mare, and hurried over to where she was. She walked slower once she was in sight of the stranger. She saw the filly with her, and made a small sound as she saw her. She gently said "Hello, would you like to come to our herd? Our stallion is a good one," she then said, not mentioning what happened earlier...It was nothing on Hinto's part, he was a good stallion.

Thunder- colt (likely to be caught in future and gelded but maybe not)- four months- Mustang x Kiger Mustang mix- herd foal- will be pan probably- Tags: herd, Seneca and Kalondra

The bay foal with the amber eyes followed after Matcha, as she was his new mama. He saw her that way, and she seemed to feel the same. He saw a filly and let out a little squeal, glad there'd be yet another foal to play with. He stuck close to Matcha, but said "Hi, who are you?" to Kalondra.

The golden-tan dun Tobiano watched as his mother scented the air. He watched as she and Thunder headed off, and he splayed his ears. He trotted after them for a bit, then paused as they went further. He stayed where he could watch them, but not where he would scare away whatever horse was there.

Stormfire

The gorgeous dun mare nodded as she looked at him, saying "I trust you. Of course this is what I want," she said, with a little sigh. She flicked her tail to the side and (fade) (unfade) she stood there after. She looked at him happily, and said "I would love to be your lead mare, by the way."

Romeo's herd

The ravishing red mare with darker amber eyes and white socks nodded. "I really like the little one, the cremello filly so...if she'll let me become her foster mother, I will. Oh...there's an older colt there too. I don't think he's with them, but he's here with us now, so...should we take him on too?"

She then glanced to Nebula, realizing the filly, almost a mare, hadn't been there. She looked at her and the mare, ears going back a moment...She wasn't angry though, just seemed to be considering. She nodded and asked "What is it dear?" as she looked at Nebula.

The reddish brown pointed, back striped and leg striped golden mare nodded. She said "There's no way to know for sure...but it could. I think scars are cool though, they're a sign that you've survived. My mother once told me, a scar means 'I survived,' and I believe that." She then glanced to the very small filly, the one named Hope. "I think Ember would take her on, if Hope would be okay with that."

The beautiful bay with the coronets, snip, frost marking, and brown eyes, sighed. He realized the sorrel mare was looking at him, so he wandered a bit closer.

Loners (for now)

Winter Nights; Winter- gelding- 10- APH Appy- Loner for now- homoromantic- crush: Baxter- SO open- would adopt foals- Tags: Baxter, Odyssey and Silvia

The black spotted and eared white male let blue and brown eyes glance around. He nodded to the other gelding, whom was a bit bigger than him. He himself was smaller, even for a male, though not the size of a mare. Still, he was a bit smaller than Baxter, and it showed. He followed, quickly galloping then seeing the mare and a stallion. He hesitated...then walked closer and said "Okay, then...we should find a place for the night."

A Silver Tree; Silvia- fixed mare- 14- Quarter pony- was at a barn- stallion: could go with Odyssey- foals: had two, could adopt- Demi- Tags: Odyssey, Baxter and Winter

The silver bay mare made a happy little sound, when he said it would be fine for the two to join. She nodded and said "Thank you." She then saw the two geldings coming up over the hill there. She squealed a happy sound, and nodded as she looked at the two. She said "Yes, shelter or really...anywhere for the night is a good idea. Not in the valley though...or at least not too close to that big herd."

The ambery eyed silver bay stallion stopped at the field as well. He needed to prove himself...even if it seemed the older mare didn't want him there. The gelding clearly didn't either, but the sister had spoken to him. The gelding's sister, the other mare, had spoken to him. He felt she trusted him a bit, at least, and the filly didn't seem to care. She was too young to really understand it, he expected.

The brown marked white mare put her ears back, but wasn't angry. She just didn't know how she was supposed to feel, since they were strangers. Then again, any horse except Luci and Freya would be a stranger. She walked slower, trying to decide what she should do here.

The pretty little bay coat and spot filly, with white on her back, sides and belly, paused. She stuck close to her mama, and walked slowly. Her mama seemed half and half on feelings, of what she wanted to do. The filly was old enough to know they probably needed a herd.

The black beauty with the swan neck marking and stockings nodded. She said "My name is Crow Wing, or Crowe with an e, and...I'd love to be your lead mare."

She looked at the lead mare and then at the stranger mare near her "Hm, I found this mare River, she is pregnant and she may want to try to join this herd, so I thought to come to you with that...you're the lead mare anyway" she said to her then looked back at the RIver.

River lowered her head in submission to the lead mare "I mean no harm to you or your band. I just need a safe place to have my foal and to raise him or her." She said softly

Romeo stood off to the side his ears perked as he watched the strange new mare. He also looked at the orphan foals "if the cremello filly will let you foster her I don't see why we can't. " He told Ember

Legacy nodded softly as she looked at Pawnee and then at Ari then back to the mare who had offered to take her and Pawnee in. "As long as we are safe and can rest for a while and not have to run from another fire." She replied softly

Arizona looked around him as he bowed his head and tried to hide a yawn by ripping up a small mouthful of grass.

Pawnee sighed and yawned before he folded his long legs under him and laid down. The colt was exhausted and hungry and his burns hurt but he didn't have the energy to keep on his feet.

Hope nickered softly and found a place close to Pawnee and lay down stretching out completely on her side. The little cremello filly was tired and worried about her friend but she felt safe here near Romeo and his band.

Stormfire tenderly nuzzle Lightning on the neck after their special moments together. He felt a deep love for his new mare. She was strong and would make a great lead mare for his band. "Are you happy my beauty? " He asked softly

Raven looked at Crowe and sighed softly. "Welcome to my life." He told her as he gently nuzzle her shoulder.

Ginger dropped her head and blinked her half blind eye. The scars from her accident made her feel like no stallion would love her. A tear trailed down her muzzle. Her ears were slightly back as she stood there her hip cocked slightly. She didn't really want to eat the belly deep grass but she had to do something.

The ravishing red mare with darker amber eyes and white socks nodded. "I think we should just let them rest for now, but…they definitely need to nurse. I don’t know if they’re all too tired though.” Then she focused on Nebula and River. She nosed at Nebula a bit, saying “That was very good of you, to bring her here.” She then turned to the newcomer, and made a happy little sound. “Of course you can join us, Romeo and I were just speaking about growing the herd. I’m sure you’re little one will be beautiful like you, or handsome.”

The beautiful bay with the coronets, snip, frost marking, and brown eyes, looked to the others. He saw one of the fillies was watching him. He made a happy little sound towards her. He then looked at Romeo and Ember, though the red mare was now talking to another.

The black beauty with the swan neck marking and stockings nodded. She said "I’m glad to be in your life,” and let out what would be a giggle if she were human. “Not to rush anything, but…I think I’m in heat…I may need to be covered,” though for her it would only be the beginning of her…season.

She looked at the lead mare "Of course..." she said to her waving her tail a bit as she looked at the new mare and the lead mare talking "Well now when you're accepted I think, do you want to accompany me, my mother and my younger brother Wisp?" she asked River. "my brother will be happy with a playmate... even if he may have a lot now...wait who missed their foals? Why are there so many of them?" she asked.

She walked somewhere very far from her herd or former herd, she did not see any horses anywhere which was good, but it made her a little nervous as this was her first ever night out alone. She walked over to a tree with some bushes around and stood there to relax a little bit.

Puraido - Bachelor - 3 - mares; open - tags: Charmer, Ginger (Changing his name to Puraido (means pride) so he could not be confused with the colt)

He looked at her "I see, did you get kicked out of your herd because of that injury?" he asked her curiously "Oh I am Puraido, the other there is my half-brother Charmer" he said flicking his tail a bit to look at the trees behind him to see the other young bachelor "We were also just kicked out of our herd...pretty much still learning o be out alone in night without the herd's safety" he said with a sight "So who are you?" he asked.

He watched his half-brother talking with this mare there, he himself seemed a little awkward to get near the mare. Anyway, he was not sure how could he even speak to the ladies, what could they want to chat about, mostly mares were unsure near bachelors.

She led her family further away to the stallion, but still she was aware of him following them, she was not sure if she liked it or not. She took a stand middle of the fields, there were not much of trees nearby, but the open grassy area was pretty easy to see if anything got close to them. She usually took the guard role in the early nights, and then either her daughter or son took the rest of the night to guard so there was always someone awake at night. She kind of hoped for the stallion to fast asleep, so they could sneak away from his watch. She was not a young mare anymore who could not control their instincts, she was not being covered over for years after getting Ace, so she was pretty good at controlling herself.

He took some grass to eat as he looked over to the stallion still following them, his sister seemed to be getting tired so the black mare was just half sleeping near their mother who was keeping the guard like she seemed to do every night.

She took some grass, before looking up to the night and started to feel tired of the day. As her mother seemed to take the watch, she decided to take a small snap next to the older mare, her foal already lying on the grass under her legs.

She is currently lying almost under her mother and near her grandmother. She felt safe around the older mare watch, even if she did know the stallion lurking around still.

(For Magic, if you want Moon to actually notice him, maybe there could be something happening? like he could notice a predator nearby trying to attack them, or he could see an adder near them / Secret, and protect them from it?)

The other mare's voice was gentle, as were her words, but she was still fearful and skeptical. Though the mare claimed that their stallion was good, Seneca was hesitant and anxious. She knew she couldn't trust another stallion, not so soon and not with Kalondra so young. But she turned her head to her filly and saw that she was already talking with a colt. "Yes... I will join your herd," Seneca relented, deciding her foal's safety was the upmost priority.

She peered up at the other mare, who was speaking to Seneca and giving an invitation to join the herd. "Oh, please Mama!" Kal whispered to her mother. However, she was distracted by the voice of a colt, and her head swiveled to the foal standing behind the first mare. "I'm Kalondra, but that's a long name so you can call me Kal. What's your name? I think we'll be joining this herd."

He turned his head at Winter's statement, and nodded in agreeance. Baxter stifled a shudder at the mention of the larger herd, mostly because he was unsure of their intentions and how aggressive they may be about their territory. "Why don't we head for that copse of trees? There will be some shelter, and we'll be slightly more hidden from predators."

He listened to his new members' statements, nodding his head in a somewhat silent understanding. At the mention of the copse, Odyssey glanced over at the area. "Yes, good idea. Let's hurry over there before the large herd -- or any others -- takes notice of us. And hopefully we'll be safe for the night." With a gentle nudge of his nose, he urged the three horses ahead of him and followed them at a safe trot towards the trees.

Not that she’s called out yet, because she’s unsure if she should because of Freda, but they and Ginger would definitely smell Lili, Luci and Freya.]

The silver bay mare nodded at the mare. She said “Okay,” in that same gentle, sweet tone and led her over to the herd. She turned to the foals, calling “Come over here, you two.” She did this because the two foals had moved a bit away from the herd.

She’d spent some time introducing the others to Seneca. She’d also had Hinto come over to look over the new mare, and meet her. He’d then gone back to watching out. Now, it was morning, and for this Matcha was glad, as it meant they could continue their day without worry.

Now, it was morning, and the mare nd filly had indeed stayed. Glad to have a filly close in age to him, he ran over to her. “Let’s play Kalondra,” he said, and made a horse sound. If he’d been a human child, the sound would have likely been a giggle.

The golden-tan dun Tobiano twitched his ears, and flicked his tail. He watched the mares and foals, and made a happy little sound. When his mother brought Seneca over, he said “Hello. My name is Macchiato, Matcha is my mom and Hinto is my dad.”

He now yawned and laid on the ground. It wasn’t odd for horses to do that, though humans often thought it was a worrying sign. His tail brushed back and forth across the ground. He then got up and shook himself off, glancing around a moment.

The black beauty with the swan neck marking and stockings nodded. She said "I’m glad to be in your life,” and let out what would be a giggle if she were human. “Not to rush anything, but…I think I’m in heat…I may need to be covered,” though for her it would only be the beginning of her…season.

The black spotted and eared white male let blue and brown eyes glance around. He glanced over to the copse of trees the other gelding mentioned. He said “That works for me,” and looked at the other two. He touched noses with his mare friend, then followed her as Odyssey herded them.

The gelding had fallen asleep beside Baxter. Perhaps the other gelding had stood guard over him, or perhaps the other had slept as well. Either way, Winter was still sleeping at the moment. He made a small sound in his sleep though, as though he were starting to wake.

The silver bay mare glanced over there as well. She saw the trees the gelding was speaking of, and nodded as she looked at the trees. “That definitely seems as good a place as any,” she said. She trotted ahead as Odyssey seemingly herded them, and they made it to the trees.

The mare now laid on the ground, quite close to her gelding friend. Just like him, the pony mare was still asleep.

Loners (for now)

The ambery eyed silver bay stallion had continued to follow the mares and foal. When some of them laid down to sleep, he’d kept watch. As such, he’d been awake for a bit. Now, he saw an adder making its way towards the sleeping filly… He gave an angry squeal, and charged towards the filly. He stopped near her, rearing up then slamming down on the snake. Once he was sure it was dead, he moved back a bit. He lowered his head and glared at the snake, making sure it was really done.

The brown marked white mare continued to stand there. She glanced to Freya, and reached to nose at her a bit, then made a small sound. “Freya…do you think I should call out to them, or no? I know there’s a mare there too, so maybe it’s safe.”
