He made his way carefully into the den where wolves went to go and recover from their wounds. Kiri limped as he walked in and eased himself into a comfortable position. Thankfully they had already gone hunting so the pack would be fine on food while he healed. The male closed his eyes and took a deep breath. Kiri saw his mom watching from a distance before turning away to go check on other matters. He also saw Jessie standing close to his mother and a smile formed on his face. Seeing her made him forget about all the pain that he was in.
