Eika looked at the pitch black male. She smiled slightly," uh sure." She turned and scanned him with her blue eyes, taking in every detail quietly. She didn't really care who her mate was, she never really had a crush as some would call it. She gave him a gentle and playful shove with her shoulder and smiled at him, if she was going to be mates to him she might as well bond with him.

Markos looked at the female who would be his new mate. He couldn't tell if she was disappointed that he was chosen to be her mate. He offered her a smile and walked towards her," hey so uh I guess we are mates."

The jet-black brute gave a slow nod, his ear twitching. "Sure." he uttered half-heartedly, before bounding towards one of the dens. He was unresponsive to the nudge as it sent a chill up his spine. His plumy tail lashed at an equivalent pace, crystal-light eyes locked on the den ahead. He brushed in, nudging a few sticks before a couple of large leaves. Tension had grown over him, multiplying the awkwardness in the atmosphere.

The alabaster fae gave a slow, indecisive nod, her ear's pricked slightly. Her ears suddenly flattened as a glare inflared her deep azure optics. Well, that's a stupid way of saying it. She thought. Her shy motive had half grown off, agitation sprouting in her face. "Yeah-- anyways, I can help with the nest, or-" she began, her tail flourishing at a leisure pace.

Northe smiled at the fae, nudging her up as he stood, pointing his snout in the direction of his den, before he waited. The air was slightly awkward, but he had an easygoing mate now, so he needed to lighten up."..Do you have anything that I should carry back to the den? Or do you want to get settled in right away?" The brute chuckled to himself, his amber eyes landing on her.

The fae didn't really mind the awkward silence, so she simply just followed behind him, taking small steps, not wanting to get too close, just in case he was too uncomfortable with her. A small yawn escaped her lips, watching him as he walked, taking in his features and small details that she never seemed to notice before."..So.. How do you feel about all of this..?" Ayame cautiously asked, picking up the pace, now walking beside him,but she was still behind as well.

Eika shook her head as she rose to her feet," let's just get settled I don't really have any objects I need to bring with me." She gave a light shrug then looked at his den before retiring her gaze to him. He seemed nice, she could have gotten a worse mate.

Markos nodded," okay." He offered her another smile, trying to make it less awkward between them. " I know I may not have been the mate you wanted but I don't want this to be awkward." He paused before walking towards his den," I'll take you to the den."

He nodded a little, mostly to himself as he started in the direction of his den, licking his snout, before glancing back at his new mate, gesturing forward with his head. "Come on, Dear Eika." He smiled, his chest tightening a bit, since he wont be able to see his sister as often, "..I cant believe she got chosen for the Beta.." Northe mumbled to himself, worried about her, but happy as well, still waiting for Eika.

The ebony tom continued to shuffle twigs beneath the nest, cracking them occasionally as he added in some moss. He paused abruptly towards the fae's question, his brows furrowing. He bit his lip, his tail flourishing gently. "I don't know.. fine? Negative? Uncomfortable?" he gave a light shrug, placing a couple crunched leaves atop the nest. He then sat, his tail thumping along the top of the nest.

Alice gave a rough grunt, her paws muted as she gently paced forward. She directly paused at his question, her pupils dilating to small dots. I'm unhappy because I got an idiotic mate. the she thought furiously. "I don't even want a stupid mate." the femora uttered angrily, following her new-mate into the den. "I can't believe how you can be so.. happy about this." she added, before sitting with her fluffy tail curled along her fore-paws and hind-paws.

Eika walked up to his side and tilted her head curiously. " You're sister is Ayame right," she asked as she overheard his quiet comment. She didn't want to seem creepy but she knew a lot since she observed a lot. The two seemed to be a close pair of siblings, or at least closer than normal siblings.

Markos looked at her and his ears pressed against his head. " I'm sorry I'm not what you wanted. " He sat down on the dirt. " I don't have a reason not to be happy about this. " He glanced at her before turned away, clearly his presence was unwanted.

Ayame's ears flattened slightly, watching the brute, sitting further away from him, her claws digging into the ground, watching the dirt specs collect on her coat. She slouched, as if trying to make herself disappear, letting the silence fall over the two, thinking over what he just stated. Did he even want her as a mate..? She was probably too small for his liking. She sighed, curling her fluffed tail around her body. "..That's okay. You'll get used to it." She mumbled, laying herself down now, huffing in slight annoyance.

Northe looked over at her for a brief second, nodding his head, an exasperated sigh escaping, "Yes, that little runt is my sister, of course." He joked, actually deeply admiring his little sister, "She's the only family I have left, now, and she's enough to keep me going." Northe just shrugged, stepping aside as they arrived at his den, allowing her to go and check it out, his ears twitching, as well as his tail, happy with his pairing.

Didn't. Want. A. Mate. In. The. First. Place. I'm not saying that I didn't want you inparticular. So just--" she trailed off, before letting off a soft huff. "Then why are you smiling gleefully at me, as if I was the whole world? Riiighhhtt- you faked it." she added, her eyes rolling in fake-realization.

Roukan only stared with his crystal-light optics, his tail stopping in its slight wag. She wasn't happy either.. was she? A frown curled his lips at her last statement-- "You'll get used to it." He let out a gentle sigh, staring down at his massive paws. Oh, Kharala, why couldn't this be you? He looked back up, blinking gently. He got to his paws, and bounded over to her, settling at her side. He gave a gentle, affectionate lick to her ears, his tail curling along his flank."Let's just make it work-- I guess."he gave a low shrug, putting on a half-fake smile along his lips.

The fae just laid there, burying her face into her tail, wishing her brother were here at this exact moment, since she definitely didn't want to be with someone who didn't even want her. She glared up at him and flinched a bit from the lick she received, nodding, "I guess.." She playfully mocked him, leaning up slightly, and licking at his neck, settling back down again. "Honestly, though. If you don't want a mate like me, we don't have to be all.. affectionate.. We could just, act as if we're roommates, basically." Looking up at his smile, she could see that it was forced, but the slightly scooted closer to him, anyway.
