Kita saw that they Kali was done, already bringing her meerkats to the camp. She sighed, struggling to pick up the five or six she had gotten. She finally gave up, lining them up by their tails and picking them up that way. She nodded towards Valdemar, dragging her kills to the camp. She dropped hers next to Kali's pile, then headed straight for the oasis, collapsing as soon as her paws hit the water. She struggled to give up, then stopped, letting her head hang over as she took a few drinks from the cool water, her strength drained. She was beginning to overheat, though the water was doing a great deal to help her.

As he sat half asleep, the male looked towards the leader. His ears flicked and he nodded a silent greeting. He often did look cranky due to his squinting, straight face and bored expression. Nguvu lied down, the large male lying out on his side. Perhaps they would get a direction out of this.

The femme watched as her two less than social brothers just kinda dropped. She on the other hand wanted to do something soon. She turned her sepia eyes to Nafasi. "Hey there 'fas." She greeted simply, yawning. "It usually is isn't it?" She smirked, the female raising a brow. She never really gave a special treatment to those above her. She just spoke to them as equals, like plain friends. It was how she always behaved. The heat or course was nasty. She wished to swim, but was new here.

"well I guess that is true." He turned his face to a vague smug expression. He was not used to such casual interaction. He liked it but it was rather unusal around here. He sat to his hunches, enjoying the comfort of the shade. He look to the group " Are you all hungry? Once the others get back, the entire tribe with be going to get a large meal." He looked forward to the hunt, it had been a long time since the tribe was able to take down a large kill. The fear of poachers keep them hidden more often than not. [/center]

¶ Kali blinked, her teeth holding a grasp on her catch before she glanced across towards Nafasi and the three siblings, she hauled her catch towards them her ears pricked oddly one back and the other forward she came to the welcoming shade and tossed a meerkat towards Nafasi and then the other three towards the triplets. She pricked her ears and smiled with content, "Thought you might want something to eat" she spoke glancing steadily at them before she turned slowly and cringed as she padded towards the kill pile and she snagged herself a meerkat. She held it lightly in her jaws and slowly trotted back over to them, seeking out the shade she reclined to her hunches before sliding her fore paws down. She placed her kill on her fore legs, and panted her sides moving in and out in rhymic motions to get rid of the heat that was blazing down several strieds across from the shadows. She paused perusing her lips as she glanced out across the camp her tail curled neatly agents her rump.

The female grinned and nidded. "That sounds lovely, hun." It did. Sitting around was gnawing at her mind. She shifted, watching as Kali passed with a nod. Flicking her ears, she looked back to Nafasi. She wondered if he was always given service like food being given to him a lot. Having it thrown at your feet. She liked being with her tribe, no special treatment dirt. When she led for just two weeks she disregarded any motion like that. Sure she was respected, but not incapable of serving herself. Malkia made a thoughtful 'hmph' and tilted her head, a narrowed gaze at the meerkat given to him. The femme hoped he did not resent her for acting as if he was a good friend and not royalty. He ought to have some touch of reality, yes?

He flicked his ears casually at the small chat between his sister and the lead. Food. The smell reached his nose as Kali appeared, tossing food to the lead male. Shifting to sit up, he looked over as she sat nearby him. Sure. He would admit she was rather nice looking. But he would not make a bold move. He would say with this tribe a while. For now, a chat. "Hey Kali." Yawned the tall male with a sluggish nod of greeting.

¶ Kali slowly lifted and dropped her muzzle towards the female, Kali glanced side ways into the blazing sun, her eyes flickering with amusement that she kept to herself. She had to admit Maliki could be a rather cocky one at times. She pursed her lips her tongue rolling across her ivories before she watched the females gaze watching the meerkat at her feet. She narrowed her eyes and her brows browed in the middle. " if you don't want it don't eat it " she snapped narrowing her eyes her tone not sounding the least friendliest but then sun and the heat wasn't at all helping. Kali looked away and stiffened before she noticed Nishati besides her, she turned her gaze towards him and met his eyes, before passing to the side. She rested her muzzle on the meerkat for several heart beats before lifting it again panting once more. " Hey Nishati," she spoke at last her nose twitched as her tongue ran over it smoothly her ears twitching back and en forth.

The male looked towards his sister as she seemed conflicted. She was still in an odd haze. He had no idea why. But ever since they left that tribe she had been off. He had been meaning to ask her why that was. Nishati knew she had been hanging around a rather influential male in there. He probably put some new ideas and attitude in her head. He hoped she would get over it. By the way she flinched when Kali scolded her, he assumed she was coming back to earth. Malkia looked rather flustered and lost. He looked back to Kali as she responded. "She means well. Just been a little off recently." He said wuietly, hoping there was no harm done. "Have a good hunt out there?" He changed the subject, ears swiveling towards her.
