P e r s o n a l i t y: Sheik is a very kind, caring, and young male. He absolutely LOVES cubs, and would never even dream of eating one, no matter how hungry. If he saw a male harming cubs, he would get involved. Sheik has problems though. He is blind in one eye, and that affects his hunting, but if he had a family, he would keep trying no matter how many times he failed until he could bring something home, even if he himself couldnt eat.
P a s t L i f e: He used to have a mate, and two cubs, and he lived with them happily. But, there was a fire in the dead of night, right next to their den. The blazing flames were huge. He told his family to STAY IN THE CAVE and wait for it to pass. But, their cubs walked out of the cave, interested in the flames. His mate went to get them quickly, but as Sheik went to follow, a blazing tree fell RIGHT on all three of them. A burning branch cut Sheiks eye, and that left a nasty scar and his eye blind. He stayed in that cave for days, clawing at the tree, until he could get out. Sheik has been scared of flames ever since.

Luhua's paws skidded down the slippery side out of the moutain, her claws uselessly gouging the snow. Swallowing down a yowl of pain as one of her claws ripped on an small outcrop of a rock, she pushed off the ground with powerful haunches, landing softly onto the snow on the forest floor. The skinny female's head swung around, before she started forward in a brisk trot, determined to find food this trip, for her last four had gone to no avail.

Sheik sat up on a rock, looking down into the snowy forest. He could find no food in the area, and whenever he DID find something, he lost it due to his blind eye. He snarled, and scratched the rock over and over again while sitting until he left deep marks. He flicked his ears, and sniffed the air. He didnt smell any other Leopards around, and he gets rather lonely at times.

Trutsky trembled as the vulture spread his wings and screeched at him. "HELP MEEEE!!!" he yowled as he dashed down the slope, tripping and somersaulting down. He reached the gully and spun around, lashing out at empty air. As he realized that the vulture had lost interest, he relaxed and checked himself over. He'd gotten a few cuts from falling down the hill, and twigs were stuck in his fur. He sat down and began to groom them out of his coat.

Sheik pricked his ears. Was that a cub....? He thought he heard a cry for help in the distance, but maybe he was just hearing things. He shook some snow out of his fur, and leaped of the rock, hitting the snowy ground with ease. He then head off, ears pricked for any food.

Luhua froze at the sound of a yowl, spinning around, battle ready, but found nothing. Flattening her ears, the female looked up to the screech of a vulture as it lazily flew pass, surpressing a shiver. That bird could be finding her one day if she didn't find food. She let out a detirmined breath as a twig snapped, lowering herself in a crouch, watching a Sika deer look around warily, sniffing at the snow covered ground.

Shariki pricked her ears hearing the distressed cub call. Her first instinct was her cub. She wrapped her tail around her cub and laid her ears back hissing. Finally when she realized the danger wasn't near, and a cub was in danger she scooped up Calypso and padded towards the noise.

"MOOOOMMM!" Calypso whined. "I can walk you know!"

Shariki hushed him and plunked him down just in time to see Trutsky tumble down the slope. She scooped up Calypso once more and bounded towards the cub. "Are you alright?" She asked, maternal instinct kicking in.
