"you your not mad?" he stutters, he hadnt seen her in days because he was to afraid to come to her, but now that he was here. he was enjoying her company, if he was a cat. he'd purr very loudly

── ★. Her eyes would widen and she would tilt her skull back to face the collie. 'Malcolm,' thought the solider. One of the dogs that Naomi found herself... respecting? Maybe a little, but not too much. Her thin, leathery black lips would slowly curl upward along her long muzzle into something that could be considered a smile. "Curious one, aren't you my dear?" she cooed, furrowing her brow to the point of just barely squinting her eyes at him. "That's how I like them," the borzoi muttered.

She rose to her paws, extending her long legs out into a bow, stretching. Her topline swayed slightly and allowed the peaks of her spine to show underneath the skin ─ which would then return to hiding once she straightened herself. "What am I staring at?" she... playfully 'questioned' back. Naomi hummed softly to herself, eyes flickering away from Malcolm for a second over to the dying body of the old chief. "Not any of your business, is it?" the borzoi answered with a question. Again. "But if you must know," she began, setting her eyes back onto the tri-color collie, placing the end of her lengthy muzzle near his flopped-over ear, where she could whisper to him. "The old chief, ever wonder... what your own kind taste like? Have you ever wanted... wanted to try it?"

Josie’s eyes fluttered open as the sound of rustling and unrest swept through the air. She groaned silently, and slowly stood up from her den for the last time. With the chief slowly dying, Josie knew it wasn’t long before the pack decided to find a new place to make camp. Josie’s stomach growled from hunger, and she winced in pain. She looked at her stomach with sad eyes. It looked like it was about to burst any second. The father of her pup was no longer in the picture, which was part of the reason Josie had made her way into this pack. It’s amazing how great it is to feel like you belong.
Josie slowly emerged from her den, the sunlight causing her to blink her eyes rapidly from the sudden lighting change. She sat outside her den, praying that the journey to find a new camp wouldn’t be a difficult one.
