Ears perked, Kiyah heard footsteps, and soft panting. Her tail wagged and her thick, broad head sharply turned towards a green, peeling garbage can. She looked down the dark alley, watching the crows caw and clack their beaks, flap their glossy, black wings. The sound of her sharp claws clicking on smooth concrete echoed throughout the alley, and suddenly, Kiyah paused. She heard more soft panting. She quickened her pace, the breeze smacking at her muzzle. She slowed down, skidding to a stop. She lowered her muzzle and sniffed the hole behind the Garbage.

Drix was hunkered down in the hole in the way he had the sandwich slip from his muzzle and down into the middle of his paws as his ears perked up on his head ready, if needed, to jump out and defend his friend. But the sound of Kobalt coming to stop in his spot made him relax and even more so when the sound of the human's foot prints kept going by. Hearing the bark he was about to move till the thick, and powerful growl of Kobalt met his black ears. They pinned as much as floppy ears would pin and his bristle stood up on his back the black male stood in the hole and leaped onto the top of the dumpster staring down at the female who had been maybe not to luck to come across the two of them. He bared his teeth and let out a deep growl of his own.


Kobalt's tail was wagging behind him rather quickly as his eyes and head tilted up to the hole in the wall he knew that Drix had heard the signal when the scent and sight of a white female met his nose and eyes. His black ears pinned back on his head and the large brute stood up as tall as he could. Sure it was a female but they could fight too, pretty dang well. His teeth bared and he let out a deep growl. His large body was bigger than her's as he lowered his head to the ground "What are you doing in our alley way?" he stares at her hard when the sound of paws hitting the top of the dumpster met his ears he knew it was Drix when his growls met his ears.
