Rookie sniffed Dusk's coat and caught the faint trace of humans. "So, then I don't think you know what they did to you if you were drugged." She said as she looked at him. "Do you feel any different?" Rookie asked.

Dusk shook his head. "No, actually. I feel fine." He shivered once, wondering what they could have done. "But that's not important now." He said, lifting his head back up, being the alpha again. "How low are we on prey?"

Rookie pushed the whole conversation to the back of her head as she responded, "We should go hunting again soon, we're getting low." She reported. "I can go out if you don't want me to do anything." She added.

Dusk started to pace again, tail flicking side to side eagerly. He had missed being alpha, even for a few hours. "Ok, I think Cody is out getting something...I think I'll have Vesper and Goldpaw out hunting, you and I can look after the borders while they are out. We have to send them across if we want to make it this winter." Dusk concluded before he stopped and looked up at her, stopping in his tracks. "Sound like a plan?"

Hailstorm made up his mind. There wasn't any other option. The restlessness of the pack was making him uneasy, and already it had broken out into something bigger. Trotting towards the Nightling's territory, he sent out a howl to let the pack know to meet him at the border. Once he reached it, he sat and waited for both sides to arrive.

Goldpaw had just been going by when she heard a howl and then saw Hailstorm. Oh, great. Not again, she grumbled to herself, sprinting towards the camp where she guessed Dusk would be. Upon reaching it, she tried to relate the information to him, but couldn't for panting. Finally she gained control of herself. "Hailstorm is on the move again, Dusk," she said, rolling her eyes.

Emerald decided she wanted to live a bit longer so she walked out of her den to patrol. She did'nt want to get killed by HailStorm...

Dusk sighed, hearing the howl. He nodded at Goldpaw. "Thanks...let's go I guess." He said, starting towards the border with a slight cramp in his stomach. Wonder what he wants this time.. Dusk arrived at the border and cocked his head at Hailstorm. "What is it Hail?" He asked, silently hoping that the scent was off his fur.

It didn't happen. Hail bristled at the smell, his upper lip curling. "You stink. What've you been up to?" he asked disdainfully. In his mind he growled at himself. Great start, he thought.

Dusk didn't have time to be shocked, flicking his ears back, lip curling up in response. "None of your business, now why did you call us here?" He said, irritated that Hail had found out.
