She had been awake an excessive amount the previous night -- unable to sleep with the chirping of insects and hooting of primates within the trees. Though the pack has been living in the rainforest for almost a month, she still hasn't gotten used to the noises at night. Kristine blinked blearily at the dogs also waking up from the makeshift dens. She stifled a yawn and instead murmured greetings to those who passed by, noticing the meager pile of prey, much to her disdain. Although they were getting further along in their journey, their supplies were not in abundance.

He padded out of the makeshift den meant for the trappers, though it was often cramped and stuffy within the confines. In the fresh, brisk morning air he shook out his pelt and breathed in the dew. Thomas swiveled his head towards the curer den and wondered if his mate was awake yet, then paused. Mate, he wondered to himself whimsically with a small woof. It had been almost a month since they made their mateship official. Yet Thomas was always surprise and found himself in wonder.

He had been up the entire night, keeping a close watch and guard over the makeshift camp. At every noise and sound from the rainforest, Atilla couldn't help but spook. He padded through the rainforest on nearly silent paws, watching as the sun rose during the dawn. His coat gleamed a chocolate-golden color in the rising sunlight swathing the area. Birds awake the rainforest with soft chirps and bright calls. Which also meant there was prey to catch, as his stomach reminded him with a stubborn grumble. Hudson scented the air with a solid sniff and began tracking the animals.

Charlotte stood in the makeshift camp, scanning around the area. She was aware of the vulnerable state the pack was in so she was on extra high guard. She lay near the edge of the camp, keeping an eye on the surroundings. She looked to the medics' den, spotting her superior, Casper. She rescued him and he never showed her any gratitude after he woke. It was fine, Charlotte didn't care... right? She wasn't sure herself, but she would give him till he fully recovered to thank her, it was the least he could do. He was heavy and her shoulders hurt for days afterward.

Diesel, alongside Charlotte, was on guard duty. He took up station on the edge of camp in the opposite direction of Charlotte. He sniffed the air, making sure no weird scents were there. He noticed that Atilla seemed tired, perhaps not sleeping well. He walked over. "Hey, you okay?" he asks, knowing that the rockslide had shaken everyone. He kept swiveling his ears around listening to surroundings as he waited for a response. "If you want, you can take a nap, me and Charlotte are currently on watch duty" He offers, smiling sympathetically over to the pit bull. He knew how it felt to take a night shift.

Quinn was rushing back and forth between patients. It has been a busy three weeks and he was checking on everyone and making sure they were okay. He was quite exhausted, with so many patients split between him and Riann. He wanted to see his mate and pups as he hadn't today, but he was unable to due to the amount of patients.

The beautiful lilac Merle and white male was still recovering…They all were, as it had only been three weeks and they’d had to travel too. They’d made it to a rainforest so far. The longer legged but average height and weight male yawned a bit. He sighed and walked out of the curer den. Brown and blue eyes found the form of his mate, and he called “Thomas!” He didn’t know if the other was off to do something, so he ran over. Touching his nose to the other then stepping back, saying “Have…have a good day.”

The pretty golden female looked around. She had what looked like floppy ears, except they didn’t go completely against her head. They were possibly what was called button ears, or something. She shook her head, and greenish eyes looked to her pup. The white marked female licked at him. Then laid her head down.

The pretty but also somewhat handsome male yawned a bit. Shaking his head and looking around for a short moment. He laid eyes on Dionysus…then Artemis as well, before shaking his head again. The peachy kind of tannish, brownish marked one looked at his sister. He lowered his muzzle to lick white paws. The blue and brown eyes then looked up again.

The red and minimal white female sighed a bit. Brown eyes looked around, as she wondered where Lillian was that day. Shaking her head, she glanced around again. She missed Miroku…but maybe it was just time she moved on, as it had been three weeks.

The white female sat up, and looked over to her brother. She went over to him, as he usually didn’t sleep like this. She poked him with her nose, and felt he was warm…but he was shivering. This made her worried, but she had to believe it was just a simple cold.

He had been out of his officer work for almost a month, his injuries were so bad that he could not rest any weight on his legs for almost a week and for the next two weeks, he needed to learn to walk once again. The second week was painful, he could not walk more than a few steps without the pain made him down. Now he seemed to be able to walk properly, but he had already noticed that his injured leg was not like it was before the injury, likely he will have leg problems on his whole life for now.

He was not that injured by the mudslide at all, probably because the place he was with Ares back then was almost out of the mudslide's way and didn't do much harm to either of them. Thought the last month was hard and a little bit stressful as so many of his packmates were gone or injured enough to do their jobs. So those who were able to move around needed to do too much work at the same time, hunting, helping healers, patrolling, etc. This was one night for so long time that he could sleep as long as he needed to, usually, he woke up early to start the day and got back to sleep very late in the evening, or middle of the night.

He was one who had been lucky into the mudslide, he didn't get more than one skin scratch back then. Instead, the past month had been rather hard, he was being hunted like crazy, and when he was not hunting he helped the healer to get the herds and other stuff to heal all those injured packmates. Hunting itself was not easy either as the lands were new to him, and in the rainforest, there were dangers that they didn't face in their former homelands.

She looked up at her siblings for a moment, before leaving them to see the white pitbull still there at the same place he left when she got to sleep last evening "You're being up the whole night?" she questioned the male "You could get to sleep now, you could be tired at the moment...we will be fine, don't worry about the pack" she said to him.

She stood up to her kind of uncomfortable temporary nest, she was so tired that she didn't have time or interest to change her bedding. She didn't actually care much about it either as long the den was protected from cold and sunlight. In this rainforest, the weather indeed was interesting, when the sun shone it felt like burning, but when the sun didn't shine it was cold. The nights were rather cold.

She left their temporary den early, following after the loner Wolemute for a moment, as he seemed to have very good knowledge of this rainforest, he helped a lot with their hunts too. Thought she stayed out of his reach when he found those rabbits and got after that rabbit when the loner was out of there to actually see her. She was more of a loner after the mudslide, maybe because being stuck between the cliff wall and falling to the dead situation back then, made her realize that she indeed was strong enough to survive alone too, but she was not yet planning to leave the pack. Even if during the past month that has come to her mind a few times as she was looking for what she wants in her life.

She left the nursery, to get something out of the fresh-kill pile, there was not much just some smaller mammals and the rabbit she saw Lobo the loner taking into there. Her pups had grown during the past months so she had a hard time controlling them anymore, especially Ash who seemed to be almost on her side soon. She also wanted to keep them away from messing with the newly made mothers' pups as well.

She looked around for a moment then turned to see her friend who had recently moved out of the healer's den "Hey, Freya, are you awake?" she called out of her, but not in a loud voice, hoping that if she was not awakened yet she could not wake her up. The badly injured trainee needed her rest.

She sat there near their temporary camp, with a tired look in her eyes. She had worked extra hard during the last month, she had even got better with her hunting skills as she accompanied the trappers a lot during their hunts. At times like this she hated to just sit down doing nothing, when so injured as their pack was there was always something to do. Though her training was badly lacking for the past month they didn't do much training, but that was understood as all of those who were able to move did not need to do anything they could to the pack and those who were injured. Now things seemed to be calming down a bit as most of the injured ones were healed the way to move around themselves, but the pack was not back to normal yet.

He followed after his mother to the fresh-kill pile, turning to his sister following them as he picked up some mammal and poked it for her to share.

She woke up also when her mother and brother did. She had very bad nightmares in the first weeks and needed herbs to sleep properly. Now it started to fade away as she could sleep without help from herbs and didn't see so much of nightmares anymore, but she was not that trusting of the voices or anything going around her anymore. She didn't like to be in this rainforest, where all those noisy voices around them and large trees which could fall on them at any moment, or so she felt. She ran after her mother and brother, looking as her brother picked up some small mammal and poked it toward her to share.

He was not yet part of the pack, but he felt them rather close to him, and he enjoyed helping them when they were crying about their losses and what happened months ago. He was very close when the rockslide happened and witnessed the most destruction to the pack when it was over. He took one of the rabbits to the pile nearby and then walked up to the chief "Good morning Chief" he called out for her even if she was not really his chief "Here I bought you a rabbit, the rabbit holes have plenty of rabbits if you want your pack to eat good, now could be a good chance for that" he said with a flick of his tail.

Charlotte stood in the makeshift camp, scanning around the area. She was aware of the vulnerable state the pack was in so she was on extra high guard. She lay near the edge of the camp, keeping an eye on the surroundings. She looked to the medics' den, spotting her superior, Casper. She rescued him and he never showed her any gratitude after he woke. It was fine, Charlotte didn't care... right? She wasn't sure herself, but she would give him till he fully recovered to thank her, it was the least he could do. He was heavy and her shoulders hurt for days afterward.
