Deep in the west, the age of the cowboys is moving out. America has no more time for criminals and ruffians. The law has bulked up, throwing any rebels or gangs in cells or shooting them where they stand. However, it’s not easy exterminating all crime. In the state of Codiac, named after the Codiac Mountains in the North, there are a few small gangs wrecking havoc through the dusty towns.

• No god-modding or power play, everyone has a weakness. Don't majorly injure/kill another person's character without their permission.

Most of Codiac is open plains with a few scattered towns. The river that flows through the whole state is known as Idle River as it doesn't flow very fast. Up north in Codiac is the Codiac Mountains, at the base being the largest city in the whole state surrounded by thick forests with the river flowing south off of the mountains. The city is named Steepbanks and originated for a gold rush about fifty years ago. Most of the gold was already taken after a year, but the town boomed and is now a bustling city, being the only place in all Codiac with a train stop. About ten miles away from Steepbanks in the south right outside the forests is Redglen. It's mostly a farming community, having a large wheat plantation giving most of the residents a job. The farther south you go, the more crime is rampant as there is a smaller population to report these crimes. About forty miles south is Flatpost, which is a very hidden criminal hideout. Flatpost used to be an abandoned military post, the crime group has set up a few tents and have made a small campsite alongside Idle river. A couple miles west of the hideout is Thorntusk, a town infamous for their saloons and dangerous night life. Few people actually live in Thorntusk, mainly living out in the country. The town thrives from the saloons, inns, and gun stores.

The Marrow Family
Their plantation sits in Redglen and has been in the family for generations. Much of the hired help is residents from the town.

They own the whole plantation and in their older age has been trying to get one of their children to take over the farming business so they can retire from managing it. Their spouse died three years ago from a murder. They were out on their own in the barn at night and it's rumored that the Freedom Trails gang had shot them dead.

Freedom Trails Gang
They camp out in Flatpost, being a small but mighty group. They mostly rob stagecoaches, a few times robbing the train that goes through Steepbanks. They hardly rob individual's homesteads, but they have a long grudge against the Marrow Family. The grudge is rumored to be that one of the family members had shot the gang leader's father during a robbery, but who knows.
